INTRODUCTION
Promotion is one of key Ps of marketing
mix. Basically, there are four elements comes
under the marketing mix strategy, named; product,
price, place and promotion, in which the
promotion element of this strategy has been
discussed below in the context of Marks and
Spencer (M&S) (Diamond, 2019). The Marks and
Spencer is then leading retail brand of the United
Kingdom.
PROMOTION
Promotion is very important element of the
marketing mix strategy, and this is why currently upper
management and marketing management of M&S highly
consider this element in its workplace. Currently
promotional strategies of marks and spencer are very
effective, and due to this reason, this venture of gaining
huge profit margins as well as competitive advantage in
market place. Basically, existing marketing manager of
business like to use both types of marketing strategies of
promotion in its workplace, named; traditional strategy
and modern marketing (Johnson, 2018). However, it
always gives higher priority to only modern strategies.
For example; digital marketing strategy is one of key
modern strategies which is currently highly used by
marketing manager of Marks and Spencer. For the brand
promotion, marketing team uses different tools, like;
poster, bill boards, social media, banners, newspaper,
television ad etc.CONCLUSION
It can be concluded that upper
management of Marks and spencer have to give
order to its marketing team for highly using digital
marketing technique in its workplace for highly
gaining huge competitive advantage in market
place in current modern world.
