INTRODUCTION
Excel is program which is available in the form of spreadsheet and is a part of Microsoft
office. It enables users to organize, format and calculate the data in the spreadsheet. In the
following report task is performed to sort list the employees whom fulfil the criteria. In the
second part, it states the difference between the number of holidays taken by the employees
within a period of six months. Also explain the concept with the formula.
TASK 4
Ms-Excel is used or organisation data and perform analysis based on the data provided. It is used
to perform small to large function. Main uses of excel includes:
Data Management
Accounting
Data entry
Customer relationship management (CRM)
Time management
Charting and graphing
Anything that needs to be organized
Programming
Ms-Excel is software which can modify data using various shortcuts functions and formulas
which enhances the
Part A
In this part it states about the selection of employees on the basis of the selected criteria
which is laid down in the question. In the following question, its condition is that if an employee
has taken more than 10 holidays and have taken training of less than 2 days. If the following
criteria is fulfilled, then the it will show ‘yes’ in the box against the value and if it does not fulfil
the condition then it will show ‘no’. First of all, the destination cell is selected in which the result
will be displayed. In this cell, first of all the formula he applied to determine the findings of the
formula (Bondielli and Marcelloni, 2019).
Part B
In this part, employees are entitled to take 15 days’ holiday in a period of six months.
Formula used in order to know the remaining leaves of the employee. The following formula is

used to calculate the remaining holidays of the employees. In the destination cell the formula is
applied to determine the balance of holidays remaining (Kiselev, and Hemberg, 2018).
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that it is very important to manage the use
the data and information in an effective way. The excel can be considered as a tool in order to
mange the data of the business organisation. The excel is used for the various purposes where the
calculations can be made and the company can maintain the high amount of data secured. As
there is different task performed by the organisation and by using the different data sets from the
excel sheet it can be managed in an effective way.
