Journals are an essential resource in the field of nursing (Kauffmam, 2015). There is a
variety of that can be used to enhance understanding as one pursues their master’s program. The
American Association of Ambulatory Care Nursing Viewpoint is one of one among many
journals that can be used in the MSN Program. The journal covers broad topics in regards to
present issues in the health care system. Apart from that, there is also the Advanced Emergency
Nursing Journal. The journal has materials rooted in evidence. The articles are core for the

Nursing Research Database
The Nursing Research Databases are also a vital academic resource for MSN Programs.

The health care providers can utilize them in coming up with concrete decisions. Medline is also
one of the nursing databases. It is a free database offering links to research articles with full texts

2020). The conference offers a platform for free interaction of nursing practitioners and students.

Personal establishment in the MSN Program will need one to be diverse on the
professional resources available. The resources will be of much help in ensuring a smooth and
gradual growth through the different nursing levels. Associations, Job Opportunities, and Mobile
Device Apps are common professional resources that can aid one through the program (Elizabeth
& Walden, 2015).
Associations
American Association for the History of Nursing is one of the Associations. The
Association is committed to keeping a professional record of nursing history. The records are
used to model nurses of the present day with a target of achieving a bright future. In addition to
that, there is also the American Association for Legal Nurse Consultants. The Association has a
leaning on the utilization of the legal platform for growth (Ferrel, Malloy, Mazanec & Virani,
2016). As a result, nurses registered under the Association are offered guidance and support
where needed to see that they grow professionally.
Job Opportunities

Job opportunities are an essential resource for one to grow professionally. One can find
jobs that will boost experience in their field of specialty. The ENP network is vital in offering a
database of nurse practitioners and the openings they have for different positions (Lloyd-Rees,
2016). NP jobs is also an important job opportunity site. It provides room for one to search for
jobs. Employers also benefit from the site. They can find nurses to fill vacant positions at their
places of work.
Mobile Device Apps
Mobile device applications are vital in ensuring that one gets to grow professionally.
They have diverse uses; hence, one has to utilize them wisely. The 5-Minute Clinical Consult
Application is one of the mobile device apps. The application covers approximately 900
conditions in regards to medicine. As a result, nursing personnel can utilize the same to diagnose,
offer treatment, and also effectively follow up with the patient. Apart from that, there is also the
Diagnosaurus DDX. The application is critical in helping doctors arrive at the right diagnosis.
The app is available on android and apple devices. In addition to that, it is offered free of charge.
How I intend to use the resources
I will use the journals to familiarize myself with the standard topics in the MSN Program.
Apart from that, I will seek to understand the details covered in the topics I will have discovered.
I also anticipate in to deal with an emergency case at one time through the career. Before getting
to that point, I will utilize the journals to understand the procedures to be followed while
administering the medication. I will use the Nursing Research Databases when needed to make a
concrete decision regarding medication through the program. Apart from the guidance on
making decisions, I will also use the databases as an access point to various other articles. I will

develop my readership personality by going through these articles. There are cases where I will
need to share insights with fellow practitioners. I will utilize the Annual conferences to share my
ideas and find opinions from friends. In the meantime, I will check on the Associations to
ascertain my mode of working. The recorded histories will be of much guidance when assessing
then working techniques that I embrace. Regularly, I will visit the Job Opportunity sites to see if
there are openings where I can practice as I proceed with studies. At the different workplaces, the
mobile device apps will be of great help when diagnosing the conditions exhibited by patients at
the clinic.
