INTRODUCTION
Career development can be defined as a planned waythrough which an individual
undergoes their occupational status. There are various kinds of strategies that can be used by
individuals in developing a successful career (Choate and et.al., 2019). When development of a
successful career comes into picture and individual is expected to self- evaluate their own skills
that are required to be developed by them. In order to identify skills required to be developed it is
important for individual to conduct a SWOT analysis and then with the help of PDP they can
develop a plan though which they can enhance their current skills. It is also important for
organizations to develop career develop strategies for their employees so that company can
develop high performance teams who can work together for achievement of targeted goals and
objectives. This assessment will focus uponCareer Development and Lifelong Learning, and

QUESTION 1- CAREER DEVELOPMENT AND LIFELONG LEARNING

In order to achieve success, it is important for an individual to bring improvement within
themselves and focus upon managing their communication skills, manage stress or anxiety and
focus upon maintaining positive thinking(Daugbjerg, 2016).I always focus upon remain assertive
which helps me to remain positive, show respect to others and communicate in an expressive
manner. For this I try to maintain positive communication with others which further helps in
enhancing my knowledge about other rights, responsibilities of others. In order remain positive
and assertiveness I focus upon developing transparent communication with others which not only
boost by self -esteem but also help me in easily gaining others respect and trust.
I try to focus upon maintaining positive thinking while doing any task or fulfilling my
roles and responsibilities. Thinking positively directly helps in in managing my stress and
anxiety level because positive thinking always helps in finding a way though which any kind of
task or activity can be completed, misconception can be resolved in an appropriate and effective
manner. In order to maintain my positive thinking, I have only adopted one thing which self-talk
as it helps me in focusing upon my unspoken thoughts and view points in head. It helps in
focusingand thinking about all things that are in my head which helps in in resolving any kind of
misconception.
