This project plan details the development and implementation of an education program for nurses (registered, enrolled, new graduates, and new staff) working in acute mental health settings. The primary goal is to educate and promote the use of the Modified Suicide Risk Assessment Tool (MSRAT) to improve patient care and reduce suicide risk. The plan includes an executive summary, project overview (title, background, problem statement, goals, objectives, outcomes, deliverables, exclusions, assumptions, and constraints), scope and time management plans (WBS and activities), communications and stakeholder management plans, project management office structure and human resources plan, budget/cost management plan, risk management plan, quality plan, and project closure and outcome realization sections. The project utilizes a waterfall methodology for the work breakdown structure and includes detailed schedules, budget allocations, and risk assessments. The ultimate aim is to equip nurses with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively assess and manage suicide risk in mental health patients, improving patient outcomes.
