EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The project report is about understanding event management including management for
Ventures Concept including all aspects of conducting it. In this regard, brief description on
organization background, mission, vision and objectives for success in event management in
Malaysia is introduced. However, all positive and negative aspects of the entity evolving
strength to increase, weakness to reduce, and opportunities to be grabbed are understood for
managing events. Including this, different department' functions as well managers'
responsibilities has expressed affect successful of organizing events. Besides this, various ideas
are generated for satisfying clients at maximum level has expressed in this report. Thus, different

1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Introduction
Eventures Concept is the event management organization which provide event solution
from more than ten years. It is one of the leading event management organization in the
Malaysia. Their services are based on excellence as well as they serve quality and efficient
services to all the type of corporate events. They provide wide range of event related services to
their prestigious client so that they can gain competitive advantage (Gault and Duey, 2010).
They try to satisfy their customers’ needs and provide additional benefits so that they can attract
large number of people for planning their event in very unique way. Their philosophy is to serve
high range of quality products and services under the one roof so that they can ensure that each
and every customer have best experience in the most memorable and spectacular event possible.
1.2 Background
Since 2003, Eventures Concept have growth rapidly over the years. They are planning
and organizing different types of events which includes seminar, conference, gala diner,
launching program, appreciation night, award presentation, family day and many more. Their
value added and high standard services have guarantee to enhance wildest experience to their
highest satisfaction. They have highest technical capabilities with the high qualifies team which
helps them to accommodate the special wants of the customer (Gerken, and et.al., 2012). The
services they provide are finding the perfect location for the event, making perfect design and
making the proper entertainment which come in their life.wherever the event is big or small,
their dedicated team will work with the customers to fill passion and enthusiasm make their
event as the perfect one. It is a leading event management organization in the Malaysia, where
their key aim is to serve world class best practices to the local citizen as well as international
organization. They are committed to play a pro-active role in terms of global standards. The
related organization and association are affiliated to provide better quality, manage different risk
and manufacture effective result with the highest efficiency and effectiveness (Event
Management, 2016).
1.3 Vision statement
Their vision is to assist private and corporate companies in fulfilling their events,
exhibitions, roadshows and interior design with the cost efficiency advertisement with

their internal and external employees and serve power and potential in their event industry. To
help their customers in order to reach at most efficiency range of customer base. With that their
main is to portray themselves as innovative, creative and dynamic with easy and affordable
services in order to fulfil every requirements of customers (Morgan, 2012).
1.5 Objectives
There are several objective that are made by the Eventures Concept in order to satisfy
their customers with the help of their best services, their objectives are as follows:
To deliver loyal event programs which can match with the needs and wants of the
customers.
To connect with the national and international customers in order to serve best and
innovative services at the affordable prices.
To provide equal opportunity to every person and group to seek the services of
organization.
To be capable in providing detect events and make sense of them with the appreciate
control action (Moutinho and Southern, 2010).
1.6 Goals
There are different goals have been made by the organization to reach at their long term
objective that are as follows:
To earn more profit: The key objective of every organization is to earn large profit,
Eventures Concept main motive or goal is to earn as much as profit from the customers by
selling them best and quality serves. As the organization is arranging every type of programs
weather it is small or big, profession or personal etc. This helps them to attract every type of
customer and at the end they will able o earn high profits (Narayanan and et.al., 2010).
To minimize the cost: Eventures Concept is trying to cut down their cost of producing
the services which they offer. They have find the several suppliers which help them to procure

raw material at lowest cost. They have made alignment with those companies which support
them to serve services at lowest cost (Nunley and et.al., 2016).
To make organization as worldwide: With the large customer base and more profit.
The organization want to be renown at international level which help them to expand their
business and services in different counties (Gault and Duey, 2010).
Acquire large target market: With the help of expansion strategy, the organization
want to achieve large target market sob that they can be renowned global brand
Maximize customer service and experience: Company want to serve best and quality
products and services to their customer in order to enhance customer service. Good customer
service will lead to create better image of the organization.
1.7 Swot analysis
Strength
The organization is having strong brand name and they are the leading event planner in
the Malaysia over ten years (Gerken, and et.al., 2012).
They use right event marketing tools such as advertisement, sale promotion, discount to
their loyal customers etc.
They use strong social media platform to market their products as services such as
Facebook, Instragram, Pimterest etc.
Weakness
The organization sometime face un-experience workers which leads to decrease in the
performance and productivity.
They face difficulty creating the awareness and visibility of organization which reduces
sales.
The brand portfolio of the organization is low as compare to their competitors.

The biggest opportunity for the organization is growing demand of event management
organization. Every professional and household want to celebrate their event in
systematic manner (Martínez-López and Sousa, 2013).
The organization is launching their new products and services which help them to gain

Threats
The raising cost of raw material, as every supplier wants to earn more profit and the
demand for raw material is increasing with the increase in competitors, due to that price
of raw material is increasing.
Large number of competitors which are grabbing the share of Eventures Concept
(Narayanan and et.al., 2010).

Effective management and assembling of numerous in and out of in house inventory.
Reliable and proper management of numerous complex and large scale event projects.

1.11 Function of each department
Sales
Sales or marketing department of Eventures Concept is responsible for the making profit
for the organization. They need to do marketing research in which they need to identify the
needs and wants of the consumer and at value they are going to purchase the products and
serves, with that they need to analyze internal and external environment to sell their products
accordingly. First they need to decide that who will be heir target market to sell their products
and services. Furthest, they need to make decision regarding the 4 P's of marketing that is
product, price, place and promotion. And finally they need to identify the outcomes of their
planning (Nunley and et.al., 2016).
Account
Accounts department of Eventures Concept is responsible for providing the financial
support to the organization. They maintain the financial information and analyze them to find out
their financial position. They also creates different budget of the company to maintain the
