Topic Selection
The topic I selected for my research is “Use of Multimedia Learning Techniques in Education.”
Description/Justification for your topic
Multimedia learning concepts are involved with the use of multimedia-based learning
courses that can help in better understanding of the context. In the ancient times, the use of
multimedia learning was mainly involved with the use of drawings and pictures. This helped in
getting more interactions with the students. Thus, it can be stated from the proposal that the use
of multimedia learning is responsible for addressing the problems associated with traditional
learning approaches. This proposal has thus discussed the associated problems and the
introduction of cognitive solutions for that.
What is your Research Question?
What are the various available discussions on the use of multimedia methods in learning?
Thesis Statement
My research will focus on listing the various discussions that are found from different
cognitive papers on multimedia learning. This will be used to analyze the various practices
involving the history of the education in the multimedia learning pattern.
Preview of the argument
The paradox involved in the introduction of technology is a highly accepted term with the
sole exception of educational practices. The teachers are assumed to be resistant to any of these
technological advancements. Teachers are involved in the use of closed-door policies by using
automatic instructional machines. The ancient methods of teaching students involved utilizing

The paradox involved in the introduction of technology is a highly accepted term with the
sole exception of educational practices. The teachers are assumed to be resistant to any of these
technological advancements. Teachers are involved in the use of closed-door policies by using
automatic instructional machines. The ancient methods of teaching students involved utilizing

one single room with students and one teacher for teaching them. In the year 1922, the
enthusiasm for using films was begun due to the inspiration aroused by Thomas Edison (Brown,
Collins & Duguid, 1989). The utilization of films in the textual classrooms was involved in
stirring greater demonstrations of the topic. This was followed by the creation of films and their
distribution among the various school-related districts. In the year 1917, the New York Public
school of Rochester was the first school to adopt the use of educational films for the purpose of
educating their children. The use of academic research-based education was focused on the
efficiency of the innovations due to technology when compared to the traditional practices.
The use of education has been there since the ancient times. Through the use of
educational aspects, the involvement of the ancient history has been in place. By using the
various aspects of multimedia like television and internet, there are two transformations that have
been seen in the educational aspects. The first is the development of distance-based learning and
the educations of engineering problems. According to this paper, the use of audio-visual
communications in education is mainly involved with the design and use of messages for
controlling the learning processes.
The communications involve face to face communications or distance-based
communications. The utilization of instruction-based technologies is mainly involved in the
designs, development, utilization, managing the resources and the evaluation of the associative
processes. This will help in learning processes like the use of educational activities is mainly in
place for the application of technologies in the process in an effective and efficient way. This
type of result has led to the formation of attitude in associated actions. As a result, the
involvement of the associated actions has led to the formation of an impactful situation in the
prospect concerned.

The most important concepts involved in the social learning theory are termed as the
community of practice. This paper has also discussed the explanatory framework of educations
by involving the constructivism concepts. This paper has included the history of community
practices. According to the technological perspective of anthropology and management, the
utilization of learning processes is involved in relational aspects among various individuals as
opposed to self-property. Various amounts of teaching practices assume that knowledge can be
made abstract from various situations. This paper discusses that such ideologies are said to limit
the efficiency of the system involved. This paper has also listed some approaches that have been
responsible for affecting the knowledge of understanding. In addition to the conventional
practices of learning processes, this paper shows that the use of cognitive apprenticeship in terms
of situational knowledge nature. Lastly, this paper has listed two different examples of
mathematical instructions that are used to exhibit key related features as opposed to testing.

Teachers College Press.
Cuban explains how the use of multimedia in the learning has increased the potential of the
education medium which in turn contributes to the use of communication among the associated
aspects. The utilization of such processes is mainly involved in the communications among the
associated aspects

Ertmer and Newby explains the involvement of the learning processes and the definitions
perceived from the learning processes. These situations involve what must be done or what
definitions are implied. The involvement of learning theories is said to provide strategies to the
instructional designers for the facilitation of learning and selection of strategies. This paper is
focused on the utilization of three different aspects which includes behavioral aspects, cognitive
and constructivist aspects. This helps in providing structures in the educational foundations
involved in the planning and educational design activities. The learning perspectives involved
here are considered in an account for the specified involvement in learning processes. In this
paper, the main discussions are the connections among basic learning and educational practices.
3. Hoadley, C. (2012). 12 What is a Community of Practice and How Can We Support It?.
Theoretical foundations of learning environments, 286.
Hoadley explains that the instruction-based designers are mainly involved in the change of
learning principles to meet the needs of the educational practices. For achieving this goal, the
designers must have two skills for addressing the system. The first skill is that the designer must
be able to understand the position of the practitioner. The next skill is to have analysis-based
knowledge of the process of educational and cognitive studies. Also, this paper lists seven
different questions which help in distinguishing among the learning theories.
4. Januszewski, A. (2001). Educational technology: The development of a concept.
Libraries Unlimited.
Januszewski text is important for my proposal as it talks about practice communities that are
considered as groups where a process involving peripheral based participation is adopted. By
participating in these groups, the learners are gradually seen to take up the practices involved.

However, this type of learning-based mechanisms poses implications as this process requires the
presence of experts. The use of technologies has been adopted in the corporate businesses mainly
because learning processes are utilized in gaining insight and analytics into business processes.
