B.SC (Hons) Multimedia Application Project: Animated Movie Creation

This project assignment requires students to develop an interactive animated movie on a chosen topic, serving as an informative or educational tool. Students must select a title from a provided list, register it with the lecturer, and submit a proposal. The application should incorporate text, graphics, audio, and animation. Deliverables include a multimedia application in CD-ROM format (*.exe executable with raw media and Flash working files) and a project report (20-40 pages) covering objectives, user background, concept art, storyboard, and creative features. The project is assessed on documentation (40%) and implementation (60%), with detailed criteria for each. Students are advised to plan and use multimedia tools like Flash, Photoshop, and Audacity.
