INTRODUCTION
The globalization means a combination of goods, services, technologies, people or any ideas or
opinions across the national borders. Different countries are helping to meet the different
needs and wants of people with their products and services. Therefore, it is the responsibility of
the multinational corporations to modify the goods and facilities as per the needs of people.
The human resource department of the company plays a exact significant role in serving the
employees to adapt as per the change (Kaufman, 2016). The change is an inevitable part of
every organization and it is required that the HR department should provide proper training
and development to workers so that they can fulfill the international necessities. In the same
way, the Nestle which is one of the top consumer products company focus on its recruitment,
selection and providing training and development to their employees so that it can meet the
international requirement. The importance of these activities can be from higher-earning
capacities of the companies and it also provides quality goods and services to people for
improving their standard of living. The MNCs are providing more resources and infrastructure
for social and economic development (Bratton and Gold, 2017).

RESEARCH AIMS
The primary aim of this research project is to identify the importance of recruitment, selection,
and training of workers for meeting international necessities. The success of the Nestle depends
on the human resources of the company. And to meet the international demand, it is necessary
to recruit and select competent employees as well as providing the right type of training and
development to their employees.
RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
The overall aim of the research is divided into these three objectives so that it becomes easy to
achieve the aim of the research. The objectives of this project are as follows:
To assess the procedure adopted by the Nestle in their recruitment and selection
function of HRM.
To assess the suitable training method to provide required training to employees of
Nestle.
To assess the importance of HRM function i.e. recruitment, selection and training in
Nestle for meeting the international requirement.

The quantitative research method is defined as the efficient and proper investigation of the
problem and which collects the data in mathematical, statistical or in numerical terms. The
quantitative data is more reliable because the results can be calculated in quantitative terms.
After data collection, reliable statistical tools can be used to find the results. In this research,
the data for quantitative research can be collected by asking definite queries to the
management of the Nestle.

The questionnaire is a systematic arrangement of questions which are asked to the respondents
for collecting the relevant data. The main purpose of preparing the questions for the interview
is to ensure that all the members are equally involved in the survey and the obtained data are
relevant and credible (Zarse et al., 2019).

an open-ended questionnaire or from some published sources. The collected data is not in the
form of numerical and the data is collected through interviews, observation or focus groups and
many more (Silverman, 2016). Qualitative research helps in evaluating the subject material in
detail; the experts share their observations and experiences at the time of sharing qualitative
data.
Interview
An interview is defined as the conversation between respondents and researcher and it is the
best method in which respondent share their views and experiences with the researcher.
Purposeful sampling is also known as selective sampling and it is similar to non-probability
sampling where the respondents are carefully chosen as per the decision of researcher. In order

Nestle is selected as a respondent of the interview. Total 10 respondents are selected from top
management and then the researcher asks them 3 questions about the same situation. The

position?
2. What is the main reason for offering training to staffs in Nestle?
3. Is the current practice adopted by the company to recruit the employees can attract
skilled and knowledgeable employees?

share in the international market, it has to prepare their employees by changing the HR
strategies which will prepare current as well as new employees for the future and change. The
HR department has to face various challenges in attracting skilled and competent employees
and even after their selection, it has to spend a huge amount on providing training and
