performance are the most basic factor which needs to be considered on top priority by every
company for the betterment of company and employees as a whole. By using the best recruitment,
selection and training methods as used by other profit making company, every business organization
can improves its processes so as to match International requirement.

Background of the study
For every business organization, recruitment and selection are the two most important
business aspects which need to be considered at the time of hiring of employee for the organization.
By evaluating the current requirement of business regarding manpower and human resource will
provide a strong base for increasing its productivity and sales margin thereby increasing customer
base as well (Heilman, Manzi and Braun, 2015). By imparting proper and adequate training,
workshop regarding new business concepts, techniques and technology on regular time basis will
help employees in improving their morale, productivity and performance level. For seeking
competitive advantage, a company should adopt all requisites related to its business practices,
recruitment, selection and training as essential for becoming global market player. One should
ensure that for acquiring large market share and customer base, skilled and knowledge human
resource will be first priority of company. The purpose of conducting this research is to assess
manner and factors which can bring improvement in the process of recruitment, selection and
training as mentioned by the International requirement norms.
Aims & Objectives
Aims –
To evaluate ways to bring improvement in recruitment, selection and training can be made
by multinational companies as per the International requirement. A study on Morrison’s
Objectives -
 To assess factors that impact in the process of recruitment, selection and training mechanism
of company's employees operating at multinational level.
 To understand the concept of International requirement in relation with recruitment,
selection and training process.

 To determine current market trends and policies as used by rivalry firm for improving their
recruitment, selection and training process.
 To recommend measures to be undertaken for improving performance and productivity of
company and its employees as a whole.

Project management plan is a document used for defining each phase of project.
Cost
For conducting this research study, researcher has to incur a very reasonable amount of cost
expenses in the process of gathering and collection of relevant and appropriate data and information
(Heagney, 2016). For this research study, research will require non-numerical data as it is
qualitative research. Thus, no high cost expenditure will be incurred as the study is based on
qualitative research rather than quantitative research. For completing this research project, $1500
has been incurred by researcher.
Scope
The main reason behind conducting this research is to evaluate all the ways in which the
company can bring improvement in its recruitment, selection and training process in line with the
International requirement. By conducting this research project, it will assist other business scholars
and researcher in their successful completion of research project. It will provide a base for company
as well by determining the minimum time frame in which company will be able to bring
improvements in its recruitment and other processes.
Time
For completing the whole research study, researcher has taken 11 weeks ranging from
selection of topic till the final submission of research project. It is an important part of project
management plan as it helps in defining deadlines and due dates for successful completion of
research.
Quality
Qualitative research has been conducted by researcher due to lack of statistical and financial
figures (Kerzner, 2018). But its quality has been maintained throughout the research programme till
its completion. Also, all the ethical norms have been followed and no copy paste has been done. By
using database management system, cloud computing tool, password protected etc. data and
information can be stored for maintaining its quality and protecting it's from disruption.
Communication
It plays important role in stating as well as defining of research goals and objectives. It will
help in delivering relevant and accurate data and information to its stakeholders for their decision
making process. By using email, text messages, advertisement means, circular all the plan and

strategies made can be communicated among researcher and company as well.
Risk
By assessing all the risk factors as associated with research project, it can help in mitigating
business and resource loss that can be arise due to such risk. For this risk management plan should
be formulated for the betterment of research project (Lock, 2017). Risk can be in form of lack of
resources, increase in cost expenses which can bring impact on the time frame by increasing it, in
which the research can be conducted.
Resources
By using available resources in form of man, labour, capital in effective manner can help
researcher in its successful completion. Thus, by formulating strong and proper plan related to
allocation of resources is considered as essential component of this plan. Company can make use of

P4. Research Methodology
Research methodology is defined as a plan on the basis of which research study has been
conducted or completed. It is a process under which all relevant and material information as well as
data related to the research and its subject matter has been collected with the aim of completing the
whole research project. With the help of research methodology, it assists the researcher as well as
scholars in their decision-making process (Kumar, 2019). It consists of different parts which are
essential to be followed for completing a research project such as research philosophy, research
approach, data collection, data analysis and sampling etc.
Research Philosophy
It is a belief as per which the researcher gathers, collect, analysed and evaluate all the data
and information relevant for the research study completion. It is of two types Interpretivism and
Positivism. The first one basically deals with humanistic analysis on the basis of qualitative
methods and provides deep insight related to thoughts and understanding of respondents. While
Positivism deals with scientific part of research subject having emphasis on surveys, questionnaire
and statistical data collected. The researcher has been using Interpretivism Research philosophy.
This is because it will help gain knowledge in depth about research topic.
Research Approach
Research approach is defined as a plan, concept and procedure comprising number of
assumptions which are related to detailed form of collecting, analysing and interpretation of data. It
of two types i.e. Inductive & Deductive. Deductive is related with formulation of hypothesis
required for conducting quantitative research. Inductive focuses on making effective observation
with theoretical aspects about the subject matter. The researcher has been using inductive approach
for completing this research project as it provides emphasis on generation of new theoretical
framework through observation.
Research Type
Research type is a plan of action having steps to be followed giving direction for producing
quality result, report. It is of type viz. Qualitative and Quantitative. Qualitative is related with ideas,

hypothesis collecting data through open-ended and conversion communication (Bresler and Stake,
2017). Quantitative focuses on numerical data and its analysis by using proper sample. For this
research project, Qualitative research is be followed as it is related with ideas, hypothesis collecting
data through open ended and conversion communication.
Data Collection
Collection of relevant and adequate data is very important for successful completion of
research study. In research, data can be gathered from two sources viz. primary and secondary one.
The Primary sources of data collection is one in which data is gathered by researcher for first time
for evaluating results out of it. It includes Survey, observation, interview etc. for the collection of
primary data. On the other hand, secondary data is one which has already been gathered from the
published sources (Cheng, 2016). Researcher has gathered data from both primary and secondary
sources with the help of questionnaire prepared and data collected from 20 managers of Morrison’s.
Also, for developing brief thesis and understanding data will also be collected from secondary
sources with the help of books, journals and articles.
Sampling
Sampling is a process which focuses on collection of data from a particular sample selected
out of large population as it is impossible for researcher to gather data from each individual.
Probabilistic and non-probabilistic are two sampling techniques which can be used for sample
selection. In probabilistic technique, each individual from population gets equal change to be
selected as sample. Whereas in non-probabilistic technique researcher selects a sample for gathering
data. For completion of this research project, purposive sampling has been used by selecting 20
managers of Morrison’s for survey as it helps in conducting qualitative research effectively.
Data Analysis
After collection of data, the step of researcher is making its accurate and correct analysis and
evaluation for better understanding and interpretation (Ledford and Gast, 2018). For evaluating data
meaning, researcher has been using Thematic analysis tool as the study is based on Qualitative type
i.e. themes have been prepared for better interpretation and understanding of other researcher and
scholars as well.
Ethical consideration
For completing research project, researcher has complied with all the ethical norms and
aspects as are required to be followed during research period. No data or information as gathered or
collected by the researcher has been used as it is in its research project. Also, data has been
collected from different sources and websites and is used after rephrasing it totally. Furthermore, no
copy and paste has been done in successful completion of research project by the research related to

its subject matter.

While preparation of research project, researcher has to face various accessibility issues in
successful conducting of the research study related to the topic - How do multinational companies

accuracy aspects researcher has been able to deliver quality research project.
