A multinational Corporation or in other word MNC are organizations having facilities
including all other assets within a country other than its home country. This particular report is
prepared so as to reflect the operational details and revenue rate of three of the major
multinational companies while reflecting upon their background and services offered to the
world.
Discussion:
The three different multinational companies that are discussed in this report include:
Wal-Mart Stores
Number of employees: Before recession at the start of the year 2007, Wal-Mart store had an
average number of employees to about 338 per stores at United States. However, at recent years
it has become 281 per store with a cut in the number of employees in United States while adding
up the number of stores to about hundred.
Home country: The home country of Wal-Mart Store is Rogers, Arkansas in United States.
Annual Revenue: The current revenue of the multinational company is $ 378, 799 million with
a profit of about $ 12,731 million (Porter & Kramer, 2019).
Operations undertaken: Wal-Mart undertakes operations while creating seamless experience to
provide customers to shop at any time via online mode.

1. Wal-Mart Supercenter: Wal-Mart began its Supercenters in the year 1988 while employing

2. Wal-Mart Discount Stores: The Wal-Mart discount store was opened in the year 1962
employing about 200 associates. It offers services including electronics, toys, furnishing tools
and other aids for health and beauty.
3. Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market: It was designed in the year 1988 employing about 95
associates. It was operated for the need of pharmacy, affordable groceries and other
merchandises.
