Tourism management is defined as the oversight of practices related to tourism &
hospitality sector. It consist of management of activities that is studying for destination, making
travel arrangements, planning the tour & providing accommodation as well (de la Hoz-Correa
and Muñoz-Leiva, 2019). In addition to this, it also consist of marketing efforts that attract
people or tourists to travel specific destinations. It is basically a multi disciplinary areas that
prepare people with experience, interest and training for administrative position into
accommodation & tourism sector. Heritage management is a growing field which is associated
with identification as well as protection of cultural heritage within the public interest. Along with
this, it is the practice of undertaking the collective memory of a firm and systematically telling
stories that is authentic, relevant and ensure the past remains an important element into aggregate
identity of organisations value. It is determined that both culture and heritage is vital as it shape
value, beliefs and aspirations as well. The present report will cover the role of museum and
cultural attraction for tourism in an elaborated manner.

of economy of particular country. Tourist attraction is basically an interest area wherein
travellers visit mainly for amusement and leisure, inherent cultural value, nature beauty and
many more. If it is talking about tourism, an attraction is consider as a major intent for gaining
the attention of tourists in order to make them visit on particular areas and explore various
attraction on vacations. In the tourism sector, attraction plays a significant role as it help in
bringing people or tourists in all around the world at a particular place (Esfehani and Albrecht,
2018). As per the International council of museums, A museum is a permanent institutions
within the service of society and is open to the public that conserves, acquires, researches,
exhibits as well as communicate the intangible and tangible heritage of humanity for the purpose

to collect religious, cultural as well as historical objects that attract people towards the place.
There are various large museums in the world that is situated in big cities and the small as well
as local museums are located in small cities or even on the outskirts of a countryside. It is
classified into crafts, cultural history, fine arts, technology, numismatics and so on. It is
determine that the tourism and public museum has an effective relation as tourist attract with
those places that is historical, religious and involve some original stories as well. One of the
important factor that plays an important role in tourism attraction is cultural diversity which
travellers consume by visiting different places and areas as well. In addition to this, it is
determine that the overall practices of of tourism involve various factors of culture that is art
galleries, museum & other experience surroundings as well (Goffi, Cucculelli and Masiero,
2019). The main motive of museum is to educate people about the history, culture and religions
of a particular place or an area. Nowadays, people are taking more interest in gaining insight
about the history and for this, they prefer to move to museums and historical places so that they
can experience it in surroundings. The presence of museum is commonly understandable which
indicate the existence of something valuable and reliable that is shared with the audiences in a
proper manner. The significant role of museums is to protect cultural heritage and maintain the
legacy. Another role is to grab the attention of people towards museum so that they can visit.
Further, museum plays an important role in UK tourism success by gaining attention of domestic
and global visitors. Along with this, it represent the history and culture of country to the public.

museums are consider in the list of top ten museums of the world. It is analysed that there are
various heritage as well as cultural attraction in UK which are canals, worship places, heritage
centres and many more. All such museums and heritage places help people to get an effective
knowledge about history, culture and past. Some of the examples are The East Lancashire
Railway & museum of science, smith-hills hall. It is determined that the visit to galleries and
museums in England has increased by 8% which is three times more than the regional visitors
attractions average. According to survey conducted of global passengers, it is analysed that 7.5%
of tourist from overseas visited United Kingdom art museums and galleries as well. According to
nation brands index, they conduct a survey that consist of respondents from 19 countries globally
in order to make them select cultural products that is related to United Kingdom. Thus, it is
analysed that around 50% of result is museums. Along with this, museums and galleries is

purchasing of food & drinks and so on. The role of culture plays a vital role for the tourism
industry as it help in attracting large number of customers that has positive impact in the
development and growth of economy in an effective manner. Cultural tourism is undertaken as a
form of tourism activity and herein the primary motive of visitors is to discover, learn as well as
experience major aspects by consuming intangible and tangible cultural attractions within the
tourism attraction for gaining potential outcomes (Chen and Rahman, 2018). It is analysed that
that the attraction materials is associated with a series of different materials, spirituality,
intellectual and emotional characteristics which attract people and societies to visit places &
attain experience in an effective manner. It is analysed that tourism increases the living culture
along with lifestyle, beliefs traditions which are the main source of an economy to gain potential
results. The global code of ethics for tourism is an institution prescribed to safeguard artistic,
natural and archaeological heritage that allow traditional culture and products to sustain in
business environment instead of demoralised for gaining standard product.

vital role within the tourism sector. It assist in attracting large number of people to visit their
places and contributing more towards the development and growth of economy of a particular
country. In addition to this, tourism attraction are important for tourism sector in many reason
such as attracting people from overseas, promoting cultural modification, supporting the areas
regeneration, contributing towards development of economy and so on.
