ANALYSIS
There are music plays very great role in our life, because it gives opportunity to a person
to remove stress from daily life. There is thematic map has played great role to analyse and
discuss this topic. According to findings, people always says yes to join a music concert, because
they are crazy to listen some relaxing music. Ways of producing music are continuously
changing according time. For example; currently most people like to listen rock music. That’s
why music labels and singers get influenced to produce or develop rock music for fans or people.
On the other side, many people give priority to relaxing instrumental music as well, because this
type of music make relax to people who daily works in different offices, factories and companies
etc. On the other side, fans always encourage to a signer and music producer to develop that type
of music or song which remove their existing stress level. Currently many singers producing to
some motivational songs also, because most people like to listen motivational songs as well.
The era of early 80’s was change the definition of music industry, because in this time
period electronic sounds was beginning. Then most music director and singer were started use
these electronic sounds in their music. Singers were started to use these sounds in their respective
concerts as well. There were electronic sounds mostly encourage people to dance and joy. Many
people were started to buy music cassettes for run music in their person home threatens, cars and
parties. Of course, music industry and interest of fans always changes according to time, but
music will give opportunity of joy and fun to these fans and people forever.
DISCUSSSION
On the basis of the data analysis that was conducted in the report, it was identified that the taste
and preference for music is different for different age group of people. The interview highlighted
the preferences of a 50 year old man who depicted an interesting choice of music that was
prevalent in the 80s. It was identified that punk was recently introduced in that time and the
electronic beats were extremely captivating for the youth along with the heavy metal fans as
well. However, the interview also showed that with time the preference for loud and punk music
declined and was replace with classical songs. This is the most prevalent characteristic that was
highlighted where the preference for softer and classier music automatically replaces the

preference of louder beats etc. This was not something intentional but a thing that happened with
age. Based on such findings, a theme based map was also prepared that clearly illustrated the
change in trends and patterns in the listening of the music as people get older. The map
illustrated that what was the preferred in different age groups and then collectively, after taking
into consideration the map and interview collectively, it can be said that the taste and fan ship
shifts as life happens rather than purposefully thus indicating that it keeps developing and
changing over the lifespan of an individual.
