Economic impact
All the factors which directly or indirectly contributing to boost the economic condition
of the county are considered under economic impact.
Employment opportunity – Whenever any event or festival takes place, a number of
employment opportunities are being created (Horster, 2020). Number of arrangements
has to be made in order to organise the festival. Larger the event, will results in larger job
creation opportunities. When a music festival takes place the arrangements related to
event such as for food, place, music band and lot and lot of things are required, which is
not possible for a single person to handle it, so different things are being arranged from
different suppliers. Small as well as large vendors, suppliers and other participants are
involved in the event organisation, which is providing them a lot and lot of employment
opportunities (Community festivals—Big benefits, but risks, too, 2022).
Revenue generation – A single day event generates a million of dollars, which helps in
rising the economy condition of the country (Pulh, 2022). A lot of audience comes to
view the event. Tickets of the events sold out very quickly. The stock out of tickets also
depends on performer. A famous performers tickets always stocks out quickly and
generates a lot of revenue, where as a normal performer can't generates a much of
revenue. More the revenue generation means more profit, which will directly or indirectly
benefit the small vendors, as they will get the fair pay, for the efforts made by them.
Tax collection – Collection of tax is the most important source for the government of
revenue generation. A good sum of tax collection will directly of indirectly benefit the
people. The increased tax collection will provide the government with higher budget for
the expenditure and government will make use of that amount in infrastructure or any
other activities.
Boosting economy – The most important thing which occurred in the economy by the
revenue generation is a rapid increase in the economic condition of the country.
Whenever any activity related to employment, revenue generation, inflation or deflation
takes place will helps in boosting the economy condition of the country. The viewers or
the visitors comes to attend the music event also plays a vital role towards contribution in
the economy. When they visits the music festival organised city, they visits other places

Also visitors stays in the hostel, their they make payment and contributes in the economy.
The visitors also acts as the free advertising options, as they post about the events or the
places they visits on their social media handles, which is motivating or influencing other
people to visit the city and attend the next music festival. So boosting tourisms means
boosting the economic condition of the country.
Environmental impact
The factors which are affecting the environmental conditions of the economy are
considered under environmental condition.
Omission of carbon footprint – For organising any events or festivals requires a lot of
resources, time and efforts (Ruddy, 2021). Sometimes unnecessary uses of resources
takes place. A electricity taking quick connections at a vacant place where events are
organised are not possible so generators or something are being installed, which results in
omission of carbon footprints at peak (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS, 2022). The air gets
polluted and takes a lot of time to get back at it's normal condition.
Waste generation - A lot of crowd collects at the venue place to attend the music event
and consumes a lot of goods and through the plastic and other kinds of waste here and
their which results in polluting the environment (Luoma, 2018). Apart from this the
unnecessary resources used while organising music festival results in generating wastes.
As per some reports the plastic waste that generates at the music festival time, is five
times more then the normal days.
Construction work impact – Construction work involved while organising the music
event has both negative and positive impact. It provides a lot of employment
opportunities and the vacant place is transformed into the constructive and neat and clear
place this is the positive impact, but the negative point is that the construction site
requires a lot of resources and a huge amount of cost is acquired in its construction and
the place is being destroyed after the event is over. A huge amount of waste is generated
throughout this process. Other negative point is that when a huge event takes place, the
music events use to organise at any empty areas, for this large number of trees are being
cut to covert that vacant space full of trees into a auditorium, where music event is
organised.

and social factor. They should follow the government rules and regulations.
RECOMMENDATION
While organising any event or music festival the most important factor which the
organiser focuses in the money. So for this a proper plan should be made that where and how
much amount should be used. Pre analysis of every expenditure should be made. The other
important point is related to the place where the event is organised. A place where the viewers
can visit easily and proper transportation facility is available to reach at that destination, then the
possibility for the views to attend the event increases, where as when the audience finds
difficulty in attending the event they are not going to attend the event. So, destination for the
event should be keep in mind while organising the event. The organisers should also take care of
the factors which are affecting the environment, society and economy whether directly or
indirectly. As in a long run by continuously affecting the environment, results in taking strict
action against the organiser as they are polluting the environment. When the government takes
action this would make the image of the organiser and music festival goes down, so its better that
the organiser timely takes the action. This will save the environment as well as the image of the
music festival, otherwise it takes a lot of time in gaining the same image that the organiser have
earlier.
