AI Summary
This report details the project management plan for organizing a weekend music festival in the UK. It encompasses the creation of a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) with numerous child work packages, outlining all phases of the project lifecycle, including project management activities. Following the WBS, a network diagram (ND) is developed, incorporating duration estimates, early start/finish, late start/finish times, float time, and dependencies between tasks, with the critical path highlighted. Finally, a resource-levelled schedule and Gantt chart are created, demonstrating the sequence of package completion. The report utilizes these tools to provide a comprehensive overview of the project's timeline, resource allocation, and overall management strategy for a successful music festival.

The Gantt chart is a tool used for graphical representation of the project activities as
well as tasks performed against a particular time period. From the above chart, it is seen that
the project activities are to be broken down as well as displayed on the chart makes easier to
understand the project workflow. This Gantt chart is drawn from the work breakdown
structure and network diagram of the weekend music festivals. WBS helps to break down
entire project plan into manageable activities to provide framework for guiding development
of schedule and also controlling it (Kerzner 2017). From the WBS, it is seen that the main

diagram provided in this report shows the dependency of each tasks which help the manager
to estimate informed decisions and track project progress professionally. It helps to solve
project problems raised through project planning (Nicholas and Steyn 2017). Based on the
network diagram, dependencies of the project tasks are shown in Gantt chart. The project
tasks on vertical axis while the scheduled time is shown on horizontal axis. Each of the
project task is being represented by the bar chart allows the time needed for project planning.
The Gantt chart shows that the total duration for the project plan is 114 days with its
starting date as 11th Feb, 20 and end date is 17th July, 20. The first activity is shown as create
and event team and participants with start and end date as 11th Feb, 20 and 28th Feb, 20.
