studios, music producers, audio engineers, retail and digital music stores, and performance
rights organisations who create and sell recorded music and sheet music; and the booking
agents, promoters, and managers are those who manage the industry's many individuals and

is a song that sells a lot of copies, and the most recent songs are listed on the charts every
week. A song must be published as a single to chart, though most singles are also included on
an album. Hit songs nearly invariably have specific characteristics that are referred to as the
pop-music formula. They have a catchy tune, a good rhythm, and are simple to memorise and
sing along to. They usually feature two or more verses and a chorus that is repeated numerous
times. The lyrics of most pop songs are usually about the joys and tribulations of love and
relationships, and they last between two and five minutes. This involves the artist of Katy
Perry, Taylor Swift, Miley cyrus and many more who likely to create new styles of Pop
music. Swing jazz, rock & roll, reggae, funk, disco, and, more recently, hip hop has all
inspired the rhythms and sounds of pop music (Deng, and Gibson, 2019). The songs are
frequently about love or dance. Many pop songs are also self-referential, with references to
the singer and their own rendition of the song. The phrase "pop music" does not relate to a
single genre or sound, and its definition varies based on the time and region. Pop music is
separated from other subgenres of popular music by stylistic characteristics such as a
danceable rhythm or beat, simple melodies, and a repetitive structure reminiscent of vocalists'
songs. Pop music artists frequently use cutting-edge technology and recording studios to
attain their desired sound, and record producers may have a significant influence. The pop
music impacts music industry as it has the power to inspire people to consider their future
goals, to inform their actions, and to aid in the formation of identities. However, while music
is often consumed in solitude, capturing people's imaginations as they listen in their

Electronic music- Electronic music is a type of music created with the use of
electronic musical instruments, digital instruments, or circuitry-based music technology. It
comprises music created with both electronic and electromechanical instruments
(electroacoustic music). Pure electronic instruments, such as an electronic oscillator,

theremin, or synthesiser, are fully reliant on circuitry-based sound production.Electronic
music has revolutionised the way music is produced and enjoyed today. Electronic music,
unlike conventional music, provides for more versatility and creativity in music composition
and performance, including voice manipulation and background beats. The electronic music

music, the electronic music allows the flexibility and creativity in the music production and

HIP HOP- Considered to be a synonym to the music industry, Hip Hop can be stated
as a convoluted taste comprising of four major elements i.e., deejay, rapping, graffiti painting
and B-buoying. The beginnings of the dancing, rapping, and deejay components of hip-hop
were bound together by the shared surroundings in which these art forms germinated. The
first major hip-hop deejay was DJ Kool Herc (Clive Campbell), an 18-year-old immigrant
who introduced the huge sound systems of his native Jamaica to inner-city parties. In the
meantime, deejays developed new proficiency for turntable causation. Needle dropping,

disregarding this fact and has put forth their feet and have considered it to be a generous force
which can be used to promote mental health through its work. It has a culture that the youth
connects with and they resonate it with in a better sense. They can celebrate their space
through re-comforting themselves from the mainstream hypocrisy prevalent in the society.
Hip hop can create a sense of community, build pride and teach values. Impact of Hip Hop
was reputation of this type of music is not that good in the society as it majorly focuses over
the representation of violence, sexual exploitation and the depiction of street rage fights. The
lyrics used in this is strong enough to affluence the youth in a significant manner. But despite
such criticisms, Hip Hop is considered to be the most popular and understandable form of
music. The actuality is that rap music is vividly interpreted. The media often-times represents
rap euphony as antagonistic and centring on rap music more when it is affiliated to something
unenviable. Many media stories determines rap music as an activator in troubles such as teen
pregnancy, evildoing or some other negative social issue that takes place in the society
because of this (Wang, and et.al., 2018). The truth of the matter is that there is rap music that
is positive and can serve the purpose of improving social cognitive state by increasing
consciousness of some of the issues that many residents of our nation’s inner cities face. Just
because a rap artist speaks of less than coveted subjects in his or her music does not mean
that they intend to corrupt the minds of the audience. Rap music is entertainment and should
not be treated any differently than any other form of entertainment out there. The bottom line
is that all rap music is not dissolute and cerebration should be taken when examining the
message that the music is presenting.
