Introduction
Every project requires different skills, knowledge and behaviour to undertake
management of a project to successfully complete it (Dawande and et. al., 2019). Project
undertaken for this report is organisation of a musical concert under the listed activity list. This
musical concert project has been aimed to identify a sustainable way to raise funds for the Sickle
Cell and Thalassaemia Care Forum. This report includes preparation of Network Diagram and
Work Breakdown Structure for the project. Further, stakeholder analysis, risk analysis, quality
control and appropriate methodologies have been discussed.
Main Body
Task 1 Network Diagram for the project
Network diagram is a tool of visual presentation of the events and activities contained in
the project (Sailer, 2019). It highlights the relationship and connection between different
activities contained in the project. It makes building connections easier for the users of the
diagram. Below mentioned is the network diagram for musical concert project plan:

It can be seen that shortest path taken through to complete the project planning is through
1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 10, 21 and 22. Therefore, counting time in these activities, project duration comes to
1 + 14 + 7 + 7 + 2 + 84 + 1 + 10 = 116 days.
Task 2 Stakeholder analysis
Stakeholders are those groups which are related to project planning and execution and
impact its time, cost and nature (Grushka-Cockayne and et. al., 2018). There are multiple
stakeholders of a project such as Project team from The Camden Company, Thalassaemia
Service Group, investors, audiences, etc. and stakeholder management must be observed in
accordance with the impact the designated stakeholder group wields on the project. Below
mentioned is stakeholder analysis of music concert as per the Power-Interest Matrix:
ï‚· High Power, high interest - These are stakeholders who are not only capable of
influencing decisions of project team but are also interested in knowing their decision
making process (Shinoda, Nishioka and Mishima, 2017). Therefore, they must be
managed closely. For example, managers, organisers, owners, etc.

ï‚· High Power, low interest - These are stakeholders who have capabilities of influencing
project decisions of the project team. Therefore, these must be kept satisfied. For
example, government and its policies.
ï‚· Low power, high interest - These are stakeholders who have interest in the project
planning and execution but have lower capabilities to influence the decision making
process. Therefore, they must be kept informed of all the information that is relevant to
them. For example, employees.
ï‚· Low power, low interest - These are stakeholders who have least interest in the decision
making process of the project as well as does not have sufficient power to do so.
Therefore, they only need to be monitored. For example, visitors.
Task 3 Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Work Breakdown structure is a project management tool which distributes key project
activities into deliverables according to the project planning and execution standards (Abramova,
Pires and Bernardino, 2016). In order to organise musical concert for the Thalassaemia Service
Group, The Camden Company has prepared below mentioned Work Breakdown Structure:

Task 5 Quality control
This is setting up minimum standards for quality to be measured in the work activities of
the project (Nataliia, Dmytro and Igor, 2018). They are part of planning process which also acts
as control standards to judge actual performance and mark variances.
Quality expectations - It includes quality checks expected from project management
team. For example, Camden Company is expected to wrap up all the operations within 101 days
and to achieve this objective, schedule and quality controls can be put up.
Acceptance criteria - It involves specifying acceptance criteria of the quality standards
put up according to the expectations. For example, in order to achieve quality expectation, The
Camden Company project team specified parameters of performance that makes it mandatory to
rehearse and double-check equipment and technical aspects.
Quality specification - These are the specific criteria that will act as project milestones
and are developed to fulfil quality control standards in the range of accepted criteria. For
example, specific criteria for costume designers, stage designers, properties suppliers', etc. These
work standards act as control checks as well as project milestones to be achieved.
Task 6 Methodologies
Waterfall methodology - It is one of the traditional methodologies of project
management (Thompson, 2018). It arranges activities in a sequenced linear approach in top-
down manner like a waterfall. Thus, earning its name. It is a systematic model and hence, very
useful for managing projects which requires step-by-step completion of the project such as
construction projects.
Agile methodology - It is another traditional methodology which allows for flexibility in
the project management. It includes continuous evolvement of the project plan as per the
situation and changes required, showing agility in planning and thus, earning its name. It is
beneficial for planning dynamic projects like marketing events.
