Analysis of My Health Record Project: Stakeholders, System, and Data

This report presents a system analysis of the My Health Record project, an initiative by the Commonwealth Government of Australia aimed at electronically storing patient records to enhance the quality of care. The analysis begins with a stakeholder map identifying internal and external stakeholders, including patients, medical professionals, and government agencies, along with their respective interests in the project. A questionnaire is then proposed to gather detailed information from medical professionals regarding the current healthcare system, the potential benefits of an electronic record system, and suggestions for improvement. A case diagram illustrates the interactions between patients, data entry, staff, and report generation within the system. The report concludes that maintaining detailed patient information and medical history is crucial for identifying issues and providing quality care. INTRODUCTION
My health record is the project of The Commonwealth Government of Australia. In this
project authorities are planning to keep records of patients electronically so that medical
professionals can provide quality care to patients as per their medical requirements (Rasmussen‐
Torvik and et.al, 2014). Current assignment will discuss stakeholder mapping and interest of
stakeholders in the business. Furthermore, it will prepare questionnaire in order to get further
details about environment, problem area. It will draw a case model for information system.

There are various stakeholders those who are associated with the “My health record”
project. These stakeholders play significant role in the entire project and support the project
manager in completing proposal in effective manner. Stakeholders are discussed as below:

All stakeholders have different interest in the health record project. Patients take interest
because if this project get success then it will be beneficial for them to get more quality care
treatment from the medical professionals (Ryan and et.al, 2014). Clinical researchers and
coordinators have interest in the project so that issues related to health can be addressed and can
resolved soon. Project manager has interest in order to make this project successful and enhance
their abilities. Policy makers are involved in this health record project so that they can make
effective policies and can minimized health issues in the nation. Volunteers have interest so that
they can improve societal conditions and medical professional are involved in this proposal so
that they can identify health issue of patients and can provide quality treatment to them (Bush,
Stahmer and Connelly, 2016). Community, government agencies, primary care centre and
research parters and advocacy group have interest in this project so that health condition of the
country can be improved.
Questionnaire
In order to identify more detail about environment and problem area in the health care
system project manager has to send questionnaire to the medical professionals. They are the right
person those who can give more detail about issues (Adsit and et.al, 2014).

The main purpose of sending questionnaire to the medical professional is to identify the
problem that is faced by patients in primary health care system and why they do not get timely
treatment. Another purpose of sending this question is to identify effectiveness of the health
record project.

Case diagram
There are patients, patients treatment data entry, staff data entry and report are involved
in the diagram. It is essential to have each cases in the project. Patients give their entire detail
about their medical illness, treatment procedure is being recorded by the medical professionals,
staff members do proper entry and prepare the report. This report is being send to higher
authorities (UML Use Case Diagram Tutorial, 2017).
This is the way through which health record project can become successful. The most
important case is patients personal data entry by this way doctors can be able to examine the
issues if in the future same case get repeated.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it can be concluded that health care system is required to maintain
patients details and their medical history. By this way issues can be identified and medical
professionals can become able to provide quality care to the service users.
