INTRODUCTION
Skills can be defied as ability of an individual to perform an action or complete a task in
order to complete that task on time (Wu and Li, 2018). There are various kinds of skills that are
required to be developed by an individual for effective management of an enterprise and for
completing a task on time in a proper and appropriate manner. this report will lay emphasis upon
digital and data skills required for management of enterprise, action plan for development of data
and digital skills, ways in which advance technology can be applied to the enterprise and ways in
which it can be supported for effective enterprise management, and ways in which risk
associated with innovation can be managed.
MAIN BODY
Self-audit of digital and data skills
Digital and data skills are those skills that can be used by an individual for using digital
devices, network, communication devices etc. for management of information or data. There are
various kinds of digital and data skills that are required to be present within an individual. Skill
that have been developed within me during this module and skills that are required to be
developed have been easily identified with the help of self- skill audit “Online Testing Tool that
Maps your Digital Competencies”. This skill audit helped me in providing an overview of skills
that are required to be developed within me and skills that have already been developed within
me during this module. This self- skill audit helped in identifying that as per my total score and
skills I was on level four which is an intermediate level. With the help of this self- skill audit
helped in evaluating what kind of skills I do have, whether I am good in those skills or need
improvement. So this test helped me in understanding that I am good in all the skills and score of
all the skills of my lies in normal range only but if lowest score skills are analysed then I have
identified few skills in which there is still scope of improvement. I have also identified skills in
which I am extremely good in like I have achieved highest score in self- service, identify
management, law because if score of these skills is compared with normal score then I have
achieved top score in these skills. I need to bring improvement within my automation, data
protection skill and critical evaluation. If my automation skill is analysed then it can be said that
I have lowest score in it and need to bring improvement within my overall automation skills. I
have developed my searching and storage skill in an excellent manner. It can also be said that I
can easily search for new information and store in in an appropriate manner. but I need to bring

improvement within my critical evaluation skill. I man not much good in critically evaluating
new information and there is still scope of improvement which is required to be developed and
managed in an effective manner for enterprises. I also need to bring improvement within my data
protection skills by enhancing my ability to identify and protect sensitive data or data which is at
risk. I can easily identify sensitive data which is required to be protected but I need to learn new
skills and abilities though which I can identify risk level associated with the data and ways in
which it can be protected. I also need to enhance my overall knowledge about new technology,
ways in which I can use online services safely so that my overall self-service skill can be
improved in a proper and effective manner.

Action plan can be defied as a kind of plan that helps in outlining action needs for
achievement of desired goals and objectives (Miller, 2017). Development of action plan can
help in developing plan though which I can bring improvement within identified skills in which

Application of advances in technology or impact of COVID-19 on MY UNIDAYS
Today advancement in technology has increased dependency of enterprises on digital
technology. Advances in technology like Artificial intelligence, Big data analytics, internet of

things today have become three important digital pillars upon which every industry is based. All
the three advance technologies are used and applied by MY UNIDAYS today (Krawczyk-
Dembicka, 2017). All of these three advance technologies are applied by organization in many
different ways. Internet of things today have turned competitive trend to a means of survival for
enterprises. Enterprises applies IoT technology within their business for understanding
competition in the market in which they operate. It further helps MY UNIDAYS in developing
products that reduced human efforts using IoT products. Advance technology like Artificial
intelligence is applied by enterprise. for analysis of large volume of data for extraction of
meaningful data or information which is useful for decision making MY UNIDAYS further use
this technology to replace human brain in certain actions or task. Technology like Big data
analytics is applied within MY UNIDAYS today as it makes storage and analysis of large data
much easier. All of these three technologies are today used by MY UNIDAYS in many ways. it
has further helped in reducing negative impact of Covid-19 on organizations (Gorkhali and Xu,
2017). This advance technology has made it possible for organization to manage most of their
business operations either with half human resources or manage their business operations from
home. Covid-19 has forced every organization to allow work from home, manage their functions
and main operations with half human force but applicability of this advance technology has made
it possible for them to reduce negative impact of this Covid-19 in enterprise (Brunswicker and
Chesbrough, 2018). Like IoT has made connectivity within people possible and has helped in
connecting most of the devices together so that transfer of data can be done easily. Technology
like Big data has helped MY UNIDAYS to analyse changing trend and customer preference
according to Covid-19 so that they can bring changes within their business operation, products
and services accordingly which has helped them to deal with this Covid-19 situation and reduce
its negative impact on their business operations.
Innovation to benefit the management of the enterprise & the customers
There are various ways and places within MY UNIDAYS where innovation can be
brought in such a manner that it benefits both management of enterprise and their customers/
clients in a proper manner. It is important for enterprises to bring innovation within their
business processes as it can be beneficial for them as well as for their customers (Wikhamn,
2019). Most of the organizations focus upon bringing innovation within their products, services,
marketing, business model and in many other areas as these are the main areas that can help an

organization to gain benefit. Innovation in terms of business model can directly help them in
reducing overall operability cost and can also help in reducing time and resource wastage as
well. It is beneficial for MY UNIDAYS because it can reduce their operational cost and increase
revenue (Brunswicker and Chesbrough, 2018). It is beneficial for their customers because it can
help them in getting products and services in lower cost. It is further beneficial for management
of organization in motivating and managing their employees so that employees can work upon
enhancing their overall performance (Kandampully, Bilgihan and Zhang, 2016). It can also be
said that innovation in business model can help organization in bringing improvement within
their relationship with their employees. Innovation in marketing can directly help management of
enterprise in boosting their market position which is beneficial for them to attract more new
customers. It further helps in making MY UNIDAYS to remain on top market position also
provide guarantee of their products and services which is beneficial for their customers as well
because they can get products and services in lower price with guarantee.
Managing the risks associated with innovation
Innovation is one of the most important part of an organization that can directly help an
enterprise to bring improvement within their products and services, attract a greater number of
customers and further helps the organization in sustaining within the market in which they
operate. Many times, it further helps an enterprise to gain competitive advantage as well but
there are various kinds of risk associated with innovation due to which it becomes extremely
important for organizations to identify ways in which they can manage risk associated with
innovation within their organization (Taghizadeh, Rahman and Hossain, 2018). There are many
ways in which MY UNIDAYS manage risk associated with innovation within organization,
some of the most common ways are: First is by identifying limitation of innovation as
identifying main limitation of innovation help organizations to understand ways in which it can
result in some unexpected outcomes. Second is by involving risk management in entire
innovation cycle. Involvement of risk management can help MY UNIDAYS in developing
strategies though which they can integrate management of identified risk with innovative
process. It not only helps in management of risk but also helps in ensuring success chances of
innovation (Dellermann, Fliaster and Kolloch, 2017). Developing new competence is another
way in which risk associated with innovation can be managed. Development of new skills cand

knowledge helps MY UNIDAYS to reduce limitations associated with innovation that can
further help in management of risk associated with innovation in an easy and effective manner.
CONCLUSION
From the above Business Model Canvas report it has been summarized that there are
various kinds of skills that are required by an enterprise manager for successfully completing
their roles and responsibilities in an effective manner. it is important for an individual to identify
skills in which improvement is required to be brought for becoming an effective enterprise
manager. It has further been analysed that there are various kinds of advance technologies that
have been adopted by organizations that has nor only made operability of business easier but has
also helped in reducing negative impact of Covid-19 on organization.
