INTRODUCTION
Skills can be defied as ability of an individual to perform an action or complete a task in
order to complete that task on time (Wu and Li, 2018). There are various kinds of skills that are
required to be developed by an individual for effective management of an enterprise and for
completing a task on time in a proper and appropriate manner. this report will lay emphasis upon
digital and data skills required for management of enterprise, action plan for development of data
and digital skills, ways in which advance technology can be applied to the enterprise and ways in
which it can be supported for effective enterprise management, and ways in which risk
associated with innovation can be managed.
MAIN BODY
Self-audit of digital and data skills
Digital and data skills are those skills that can be used by an individual for using digital
devices, network, communication devices etc. for management of information or data. There are
various kinds of digital and data skills that are required to be present within an individual. Skill
that have been developed within me during this module and skills that are required to be
developed have been easily identified with the help of self- skill audit “Online Testing Tool that
Maps your Digital Competencies”. This skill audit helped me in providing an overview of skills
that are required to be developed within me and skills that have already been developed within
me during this module. This self- skill audit helped in identifying that as per my total score and
skills I was on level four which is an intermediate level. With the help of this self- skill audit
helped in evaluating what kind of skills I do have, whether I am good in those skills or need
improvement. So this test helped me in understanding that I am good in all the skills and score of
all the skills of my lies in normal range only but if lowest score skills are analysed then I have
identified few skills in which there is still scope of improvement. I have also identified skills in
which I am extremely good in like I have achieved highest score in self- service, identify
management, law because if score of these skills is compared with normal score then I have
achieved top score in these skills. I need to bring improvement within my automation, data
protection skill and critical evaluation. If my automation skill is analysed then it can be said that
I have lowest score in it and need to bring improvement within my overall automation skills. I
have developed my searching and storage skill in an excellent manner. It can also be said that I
can easily search for new information and store in in an appropriate manner. but I need to bring

protection skills by enhancing my ability to identify and protect sensitive data or data which is at
risk. I can easily identify sensitive data which is required to be protected but I need to learn new
skills and abilities though which I can identify risk level associated with the data and ways in
which it can be protected. I also need to enhance my overall knowledge about new technology,
ways in which I can use online services safely so that my overall self-service skill can be

the three advance technologies are used and applied by MY UNIDAYS today (Krawczyk-
Dembicka, 2017). All of these three advance technologies are applied by organization in many
different ways. Internet of things today have turned competitive trend to a means of survival for
enterprises. Enterprises applies IoT technology within their business for understanding
competition in the market in which they operate. It further helps MY UNIDAYS in developing
products that reduced human efforts using IoT products. Advance technology like Artificial
intelligence is applied by enterprise. for analysis of large volume of data for extraction of
meaningful data or information which is useful for decision making MY UNIDAYS further use
this technology to replace human brain in certain actions or task. Technology like Big data
analytics is applied within MY UNIDAYS today as it makes storage and analysis of large data
much easier. All of these three technologies are today used by MY UNIDAYS in many ways. it
has further helped in reducing negative impact of Covid-19 on organizations (Gorkhali and Xu,
2017). This advance technology has made it possible for organization to manage most of their
business operations either with half human resources or manage their business operations from
home. Covid-19 has forced every organization to allow work from home, manage their functions
and main operations with half human force but applicability of this advance technology has made
it possible for them to reduce negative impact of this Covid-19 in enterprise (Brunswicker and
Chesbrough, 2018). Like IoT has made connectivity within people possible and has helped in
connecting most of the devices together so that transfer of data can be done easily. Technology
like Big data has helped MY UNIDAYS to analyse changing trend and customer preference
according to Covid-19 so that they can bring changes within their business operation, products
and services accordingly which has helped them to deal with this Covid-19 situation and reduce
its negative impact on their business operations.
