This case study presents the mental health challenges faced by Natalia, including depression and anxiety stemming from emotional and psychological issues such as family separation and abuse. INTRODUCTION
Mental health includes the emotion, social and psychological wellbeing which can have
impact on dealing with creating high impact on individual way to feel, think and act. This can
also have high impact on individual life which it includes different life event which can lead to
create mental illness. In this, there is need to ensure about taking care of individual through
applying better and effective response towards taking care of health. In this, report, there is
discussion about the presenting problem which includes the main symptoms and experience with
history and impact. There is also discussion about the potential diagnosis that can have impact on
client diagnosis and related health issues. There is also discussion about the formulation which
include client biological, psychological perspective and socio-cultural perspective. There is also
discussion about the management strategies which should be implemented. There is also
discussion about the ethical and cultural issues that should be considered during providing better
and effective mental healthcare services (Greenbaum et. al., (2019)).
MAIN BODY
Presenting problem
Natalia is facing the mental health related problem which includes the depression, anxiety
which are highly effective. Here, Natalia is getting depressed which can be evaluate through
observing her behaviour which includes friend behaviour against her, getting exclusion from
peers and not having friend in the school. Her peers are also blaming her for stealing other
boyfriend is another concern where Natalia gets so much humiliated and not able to cope with
that situation which also leads to create the impact of not able to face the anxiety and take the
pills of paracetamol as overdose. Here, Natalia have the history of sexual abuse and other
emotion problem which is related with her family concern. In this, there are many of the sign and
symptoms which are affective and can lead to create high impact on dealing with the situation
that help to provide better impact on dealing with the situation which are effective and can lead
to create mental health like getting angry and depression (Wu et. al., (2020)).
Natalia also reported to nursing staff about her history where she gets sexually assaulted
which she doesn’t want to share with anyone (Sari et. al., (2019)). She also gets through the
emotional abuse where she needed for her father and expected that she can have better life if her
father would have live with her. But due to her mother married with Arthur, it leads to create

depression like situation and not getting proper support from family and getting sexually abuse
from her step father leads to enhance the depression.

Natalia have cognitive impact due to mental illness which are associated with her history
which includes the cognition to perform activity and task which are associated with taking care

Natalia is also facing the behaviour problem which includes the aggressiveness,
depressed, short tempered and facing emotional depression that were faced by the Natalia during
her childhood (ESLAMI et. al., (2019)).
Natalia have also the behaviour which include the different problem that can help to get
better change which are associated with anger and not having any friends in school and was
conscious about her father presence.

Potential Diagnosis
DSM include the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) which
include the handbook for the healthcare professionals which should provide authorisation for
healthcare professionals to diagnose the mental illness. This includes the descriptions, symptoms
along with other criteria for diagnosing mental disorders. It also includes the common language
for researchers which can provide information about the potential development in medication
and intervention. Here, it includes the diagnosis which are associated with provide better
diagnose to Natalia mental illness (Jo et. al., (2019)).
There are diagnosis criteria which can help to make a diagnosis of depression. This include
five or more symptoms which should include depressed mood, loss of interest, getting anxious,
withdrawal, not having friends. Here, Natalia is facing the depressed mood which includes
different problem like getting claimed about theft and many more.
Criteria A- Natalia is facing depressed mood which can be evidenced through her mood
and getting overdose of paracetamol. Natalia have also lack of interest in friends and getting
interaction with other in the society. There is provisional diagnosis which include diagnosis for
depression disorder in which there is need for The Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) which is
widely used for the screening of depression and can measure the behavioural manifestations
along with severity of depression. This is the one where individual can get better and effective
diagnosis which are effective and can help to provide better diagnosis which can be effective to
delivery better care and effective response. Here, Natalia can get into depression which can be
observed through getting better and effective response which can be observed in the case
scenario which are associated with Natalia (Buelens et. al., (2020)).
Criteria B-Here, Natalia is facing different problem which include the issues of emotional
disorder which create disagreement about mother marriage. She also gets very depressed with
her life where she missed her father very much. Here, due to different circumstance which lead
to create high impact on dealing with the life which are associated with Natalia life. These all get
interlinked with Natalia mood. There can be risk of not fulfilling the criterion within the chosen
diagnosis for Natalia.
Criteria C- There are different symptoms which are not having proper based which can
cause due to getting angry and anxious which includes the medical condition which are
associated with Natalia case and should for better assessment.

Criteria D- There is evidence which shows that Natalia is facing some issues which should
not include the Schizophrenia spectrum due to not having any type of symptoms related with
this. Here, Natalia is not getting weight loss and any type of eating disorder (Kampe et. al.,
(2018)).
Criteria E- There is no evidence of any non-communicable disease and not having other
medical condition which can lead to show the sign or symptoms of any disease. Natalia medical
history does not include any type of medical condition which are associated with comorbidity
consideration.
Case formulation
Predisposing factor- Here, predisposing factor is emotional factor which is highly
effective and lead to cause different impact on dealing with depression. This include different
emotional problem which are associated with taking care of effective response towards dealing
with better impact which are caused due to depression. Here, Natalia is facing issue with family
where her mother gets married and she was thinking about getting her father again which create
the risk of emotional issues for Natalia. This is an important factor which have high impact on
individual mind and life and are associated with taking care of her life. This can lead to create
high impact on the mental health of Natalia (Kiekens et. al., (2018)).
Precipitating factors- In this, precipitating factor includes the physiological factor which
include stress which is high effective and lead to create high impact on dealing with different
issues. This can have related to create high impact on Natalia life that associates to improve
better and effective response on Natalia mental health. There can also be high impact on her
mental health that need to have better potential and allow to get proper care for effective health.
This factor is important because due to high stress which is not bearable for Natalia and leads to
get anxiety that are associated with facing difficulty in dealing with better and effective care of
Natalia which are associated with mental disorder where depression can occur due to getting
higher stress and Natalia is facing stress which lead to make the take the initiative that can help
to improve better care and effective response towards better mental health (Satyanarayanan et.
al., (2018)).
Perpetuating factor- Here, this factor includes the psychological factor where Natalia is
facing the Parents Separation which is creating difficult to deal with and create the issue of
psychological impact. This can also have impact on dealing with creating high impact on the

mental health. This is an important factor which leads to have high impact on mental health that
are associated with taking care of better and effective response that leads to decline the mental
health of Natalia. Here, it leads to have high negative mental health impact on delivery of better
and effective response towards dealing with such type of psychological issues. There is need to
take care about the effective response which are associated with impact on Natalia mental health
where they have response to get better and effective care and leads to create the risk of
depression.
Protective factor- Natalia is facing difficulty in dealing with better and effective
response which are associated with taking care of effective response which are associate with
taking care of effective care include better which are effective to determine better care. Here,
Natalia is facing different issues that lead to create impact on the mental health. Due to this,
Natalia overdose of paracetamol which leads to create health difficulty for her. This factor is
important which have impact on Natalia mental and her physical health (Jacob et. al., (2018)).
Management strategies
There is need to take care of Natalia health where it is esentialt to implement some
strategy which can be effective and can help to improve her mental health. In this, talking
therapy can be effective choice of treatment or intervention which can allow to improve Natalia
health and can allow to improve better health. In this, there is need to take in consideration that
Natalia is facing emotional disorder, depression and many more psychological issues which are
highly effective and lead to create high negative mental health impact which are associated with
taking care of effective response (Yohannes et. al., (2018)).
Here, talking therapy can be effective and allow to get better and effective treatment for
Natalia which can allow to get better improvement in mental health. This can also help person to
identify and change their troubling emotions, behaviour or thoughts. Here, talking therapy can
also help in make her calm and help in her aggressiveness. This can be effective therapy that can
allow to improve Natalia mental health condition which are associated with better improvement
in health.
Here, there is need for inclusion of different healthcare professionals which should
include the social care worker, therapist, nursing staff and general practitioner. These are
effective and can allow to get over through the mental health. They are effective and can include
for better delivery of treatment that can have positive response (Arifin, (2018)).

Ethical and cultural issues
There is ethical concern about sexual abuse in which there is need to ensure about getting
better and effective response towards dealing with better care of Natalia. Here, nursing staff
should need to take appropriate action and should consider the information within proper
treatment which can help in taking care of confidentiality and should also help to provide better
care for Natalia.
There is a cultural issue that family is not able to identify that Natalia is facing mental health
related problem which includes depression. In this, there is need to include better and effective
health response. This lead to present the symptoms of emotional disorder with depression due to
not getting proper care and absent of emotional support (İlkılıç, 2021)).
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion, it can conclude that there is need to take care of mental health
which is highly effective and should ensure about proper care of mental health. There is need to
get some help when individual in not feeling good and having mood swings. There is also need
to ensure about taking care of effective response that may include better care. In this report, there
is discussion about presenting problems, potential diagnosis, case formulation, management
strategies and ethical and cultural issues consideration.
