INTRODUCTION
Human are always treated and regarded to as a form of the best resources which will

management for accomplishing my dissertation. In addition to this, I possess all the

help me in working as per the needs and demands of the organisation. Further, the entity
which is offering the job is highly effective and appreciates innovative ideas taken for the
business. This will provide me a great opportunity in proving myself. The post of graduate
trainee is centred on the effectiveness of creative ideas brought by the employees in the front-
line and management operations. Hence, in this way, I can achieve my career goals in a short
period of time by simply implementing the ideas. Also, the job is in government sector of UK
which is way more stable and effective as compared to the private sector.
2. Tell us about a time you worked in a group to achieve an objective (what did you do
and what was the outcome?)
I firmly believe that group work is an outstanding tool that assist in gaining the
entailed objective in an effective way and a stipulated time-frame. I have learned about
various features of this type of work when I had prepared my dissertation. We have worked
in a team of 5 members for that research project. Being the leader of the team, I was much
closer to the fact about the importance of group working. I feel that there are various benefits
that were grabbed as a part of team which can not be attained individually. We have selected
a topic on operation management tools. For this, we first made a plan with different activities
for accomplishing the project. These segregated task were later assigned to different team
members depending on their skills and abilities. This has helped in getting all the fields of the
plot with utmost perfection. In addition to this, a time limit was setted with every task so that
the work can be completed in a stipulated time-frame. As a result, we have completed the
work on time with reliable data. Further, being leader of the team I have maintained a healthy
working environment thoroughly. Also, a high level of communication was there between the
members.
3. Tell us about a time when you identified a new approach to solve a problem. (what
did you do and what was the outcome?)
In the last organisation where I was working with taught me a lot about how are the
things dealt and how to solve the problems. I also learnt many approaches with the help of
which many types of problems could be solves. And the main approach which I learnt is to
keep calm at the time when any problem has been arrived. This is very difficult to keep calm
while we are facing any problem and we can easily get panic. I identified this approach to
believe in my self and my abilities to deal with the problems. Once during my work there in
my previous job I was caught in very tragic situation and I was not having any idea how to
get myself out from that situations. So I decide to keep calm and then try to find out the
solution to that problem. It was then very essential for me not to panic in that situation and

believe in my ability that I can do the work. This helped me a lot in my future course of work
as well as the outcome was positive only.
4. Tell us about a time when you had to manage a number of different priorities and
complete a number of tasks in a short amount of time (what did you do and what was
the outcome?)
There was a time when one of my colleague was on leave and then I need to manage
the whole work in office. At the starting I was very much worried about how I will be able to
manage all the work and would I be able to complete all the task at time. There were different
types of priorities which I was having and I also could not delegate them to others as they
were important. So I somehow organised and manage to delegate that part of my work which
was not that much important and other could easily do that work. Planning and then
organising the allotted work in the local government will be very important as they will be
handling many types of problems and achieving the objective of local government. So I was
able to meet all my deadlines by making quick decision of delegating the easy task and
keeping the priorities at my end. This will also ensure the efficient use of resources which are
available with them and then make a decision about how to allocate the resource in that way
which will be helping the company is achieved its objective
5. Tell us about a project you worked on that required you to persuade others to your
point of view (what did you do and what was the outcome?)
I was the leader of so there are some of the qualities of the leader which they need to
be followed and then persuade others to do quality of work on time. The ability of the
individual or the trainee of management who will be recruited in the local government of
England to communicate with all the superior and people working with them is known as
persuasive communication. As this is the ability of the person to communicate to other person
with full confidence which will be motivating them to adapt the theory or idea which the
sender is try to convey. he job and work of a leader in group is very much clear with the
amount of motivation which they are providing to their workers. They need to motivate and
train the employee how can they be able to attain their set goal. The programme help them to
gain insight into front line, operational delivery and corporate management of the council and
this programme will be aimed to support the management trainee through learning and

4. Reflection on the in-seminar interview practice.
In order to crack the interview conducted for the job vacancy 3XYZ there are some in-
seminar interview practice that I have undertook.
I am aware of finding out about the process in which interviews are carried. This will
help in making me prepared for the job role.
Further, I have practised answering interview questions by making a list of most
important questions that are widely asked. Further, I wrote down these questions on
flashcard and picked them randomly.
This will assist me in answering questions coming in any order. There are times when I
have recorded myself being practising. It helped me a lot in analysing my strengths and
weaknesses.
I just not only paid attention to the answers but also I focused on the eye contact, by body
language, the postures, etc. It should b recognised that all these things matters a lot in
