1. Benefits of establishing enterprise wide architecture
i. Due to establishment of the enterprise wide architecture, the divisional units as
well as departments are all come to one stage. It will help the decision makers
to take best organizational actions within the business (McKeen & Smith,
2015). The senior managers as well as leaders are getting proper
understanding of business units along with system.
ii. There is cost savings from elimination of redundancy of the internal customer
service units with savings of each units using similar systems as well as
software (Winter, 2016).
iii. Due to establishment of enterprise wide architecture, it is easier to collaborate
as well as interact between the business units when each one can get access to
common system.
iv. By adding of application layers over existing system, a better system is to be
created. In order to start with strong foundation, a new process or system is
easily implemented (Beese et al., 2019).
v. By means of the enterprise wide architecture, security is to be managed as well
as updated with the centralized system. The data is to be managed easily as
well as secured. The information is shared when the customer is requested for.
Due to implementation of new enterprise strategy, the company has to loss the
individual units before its implementation. Implementation cost is higher for the new system.
Each of the business units has own specifications, while it cannot build the architecture
meetings its requirements.

2. Build business case to present to senior management team
Nationstate is implemented the business in IT world so that they can implement
enterprise system besides strategy. The Nationstate has its own IT methods and procedures
in each divisional units allows in duplication of data as well as system. It will lead to lack of
information between business as well as IT team. It should have single individual system that
the divisional units work in single platform to make the business easier as well as lessen the
cost. Seamus is required to create positive among the divisional units as well as explain the
benefits of the new enterprise strategy (Schilling et al., 2020). By creating a business case, it
should include the divisional units with a focus on data breaches, mitigation of risk as well as
regulatory problems. Seamus O’Mally should highlight following points in the business case
such as:
Cost reduction: Each of the individual unit should work with the central operation for
saving the revenue such that it can save money could spent on the future projects. It will get a
better return on investment.
Leverage on technology: Into the competitive world, new technology will help the
business to implement single individual system. The system should update as well as make
changes in the features as quick as possible. It will reduce cost as well as time and also make
it flexible along with innovative (McKeen & Smith, 2015).
Risk mitigation: It is being handled by the central source means there is security
policies. The security protocol is making less likely of data breaches as well as reducing cost
for the business units.
3. Governance procedures put in place would win hearts and minds

In the organization, there are two governance levels such as strategic as well as
tactical. The strategic level is architecture included standards to achieve goal that O’Malley
will going to implement with the senior architects. The tactical level is included people with
each of the business units, and they are responsible to implement the enterprise system
(Hazelton, 2017). The governance procedures which are put in place to win hearts as well as
minds that the architects of BU should comply with enterprise architecture standards are:
a. There should require to maintain better relationships with the presidents of the
business units and interact with them regarding way forward for business as
well as divisions.
b. Maintaining relationships with high officials of the individual business
operating units as well as have a proper communication regarding businesses.
c. In SDLC, the agile methodology will help in scheduling of the meeting with
the presidents of operating units and meetings with the staffs.
d. It helps to highlight role that each of the stakeholders play as well as decision
making process is not leave with the top level management. There is setting of
standards with allowances for the variances as well as deviations to adopt a
new system (Willcocks, Lacity, & Craig, 2017). The variances should be
temporary and it is adjusted back to standard over the time. It will ensure that
there is low level of hindrance due to heaviness to set impractical goal
objectives.
