This assignment analyzes the evolution of Nazi racial ideology and its impact on policy, tracing the shift from initial discrimination to the implementation of murderous programs. The analysis focuses on key documents, including the Nuremberg Laws, which mandated the sterilization of individuals deemed 'racially defective,' and reveals the gradual expansion of persecution, culminating in the euthanasia program. The assignment highlights the role of bureaucratic language in justifying the extermination and sterilization of individuals, with particular attention to the concept of racial purity and the denial of rights to those deemed non-Aryan. 1RESPONSE TO QUESTION ON NAZI’S RACIAL IDEOLOGY IN POLICY
The nature of bureaucrartic language used in the document is clearly for the sake of
presenting the goal of extremination and sterilzation of people. It states that anyone who is
suffering from a disease that is hereditary in nature needs to be sterilized in order to purify
and “improve” the german aryan breed. Those diseases include mental illnesses, physical
disability, and even a disease which does not have a proper definition. “Congenital feeble-
mindedness” 1is defined as those who are capable of making a living in circumstances that are
favourable but is rendered incapable of doing so from any mental defect that can show its
signs from birth or at an younger age. The other questionable aspect of the document lies in
the fact that the power that has been vested in the hands of the reich in order to allow the
procedure to be carried forward, however “chronic alcoholism”2 is also regarded as an illness.
Needless to say, many of the mentioned disesease are curable under proper care and
guidance. Article VII also states the need of secrecy in order to execute the process of
sterilization.
Article 2 states that the german citizen will be granted only to those who are pure
blood Aryan race and implies that any other race would be exterminated as they had
successfully mass murdered the Jews. The most interesting aspect is the use of language is
how it only states one side of the law and not the other side as and when what would happen
to those who are not kindred blood and what kind of behavior is regarded as desirous and
proves someone to be loyal to the German people. Article 4 and 5 goes to state who is a
Jewish and who is not whereby it determines his or her voting rights, rights to holding public
offices, etc. The power to include and remove someone from accailming or denouncing these
rights are also bestowed with the Fuehrer and the Chancellor of the Reich- esytablishing the
autonomy of the offices.

Most shocking revelation of the document is present at the end of it, Document Five
which states that the process of euthanasia can be conducted by the designated physician
whom he thinks need to be euthanised for the cause of incurable illnesses. It is evident that
the changes did not come overnight. Instead it took place gradually under the protection of
Hitler, the Nazzi genocidal policies were fully implemented.
