1) The two most significant factors that help in making cloud computing possible are b)
cheap computing power made possible by Moore’s law and e) The emergence of significant
Cloud software applications by technology giants such as Google and Microsoft,
If proper cloud software applications offered by technology giant like Microsoft, Google
are adopted considering a virtual technology then, it would be able to give reliability, flexibility
and accountability to the company owners.
2) The money saving factor that were not considered by NDPL is b. Eliminate the need
for hardware upgrades and c) floor space saving for the computer hardware.
In the year of 2010 the company has identified that use of cloud computing technology is
money saving for IT capital expenditure.
In order to install required hardware Neelkanth Drugs has to save some floor space but
the company fails to do so in addition to this, the company also failed to consider the cost for
hardware upgrading. Due to these failures the organization might have to comprise with their
diagnosis techniques.
3) NDPL failed transition into cloud because b)The SaaS vendor was poorly chosen
because it had no experience in the pharmaceutical distribution business and e) NDPL’s early
adoption of cloud base software solution caused it to underestimate the difficulty of the project
and NDPL failed to create a trail implementation for testing and refining the cloud solution
before going live as a result failure occurred.

Due to lack of technical experience no implementation of trail implementation to fulfill
the testing purposes NDPL failed to handle the operation
4) The significant factors in the decision making process are- a) NDPL needed an
integrated ERP system to eliminate manual intervention errors from the system and c) Cloud-
based ERP had matured rapidly, and NDPL had learned the hard lessons about having separate
SaaS and NaaS vendors.
In order to improve the overall operational efficiency and make the function faster than
before these factors are considered.
