My company is known as Abdul Rahman AL-Otaishan & Sons Group (ARO). It is located in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia with 15 branches and
2,500 employees. I am working on Jubail City at the Ibn Zahr plant.
ARO Group is a very big company construction company in both Industrial and Transportation services. The company is involved in different
businesses and in service areas like Insulation, painting, coating, refractory, concrete repair, asphalting and many others. And working for big a
company such as SABIC and ARAMCO Plants handling big projects in asphalt as the company has its product and equipment for asphalting also
very high skill and experience employees. More than that, working in a maintenance job with more than 30 plants such as concrete repair and
leaking of water, etc. Therefore, it is involved in both shutdown and Turn around for several sectors one of them is Insulation and specialized on the
mechanical system insulation in different applications such as Boilers, process piping, and fittings, storage Tank and Vessels. Workers have been
divided into two shifts first one is the day shift from 6 am to 6 pm and another one is night shift from 6 pm to 6 am as the company provides 24 hour
services for their clients.

standard for both of them. Osha is one of the trusted website in the world and it very reach in term of information on Health and safety and it give

guide website to follow. I identified the hazards that could cause harm through assessing health and safety risks that workers were faced with.
These includes mental risks, physical risks, chemical risks and biological risks. I also identify who was at the risks of being harmed. For instance,
visitors, employers, operators of machineries and clients. The members of the public were identified too. Repetitive tasks in slips, lift loads were
places that were assessed in depth. I considered how each risks were likely to cause damage or injury to different individuals. It assisted me to
determine how I could reduce the risk level. I then decided on the measures to undertake to prevent such risk from cause damage and injuries to
employees, supervisors and workshop operates.
Therefore, I have asked several experience staff that they have been worked on this area and they discover many things to be used while doing any
kind of work on concrete job which they were not using it or even wear it such as leather gloves to protect their hands. I have discovered many
incidents happen during of these kind of job and it happen more than one time which mean this need to be consider.
