economy of every nation. Yet a number of instances can be stated that point out towards the
contrary. It is regularly observed that traveller zones are expensive than other spots. This may
carry benefits for businesses pertinent to travel sector or the government of the country however
the local people need to suffer owing to this circumstance. It is often seen that the increment in
prices of essential commodities may even make it difficult for the local individuals to afford the
offerings any further. Likewise a number of foreign investors start investing their funds into such
businesses and locations due to which the prices rise. The local people need to undergo a lot
because of this. An exemplary situation can be seen in the form of home rental market prevailing

several negative impacts upon different parts of the world. The impacts can be seen upon the
culture, economy, and environment of the country. Even when tourism leads to generation of
high revenues, the downsides of this sector take an upper hand over the positives. The waste
generated by tourists dampens the beauty of locations. Further, some tourists intentionally harm
the beauty of monuments by scribbling something upon the walls. Further, animal tourism leads
to exploitation of animals, caging and confinement of animals and their separation from their
habitats from a very early age. Further, the cultural beliefs of tourists may differ from the local
beliefs of people belonging to the location. The travellers tend to persuade the local people to
adapt to the western culture which negatively impacts upon the beliefs, culture and legacy of the
location.
