regarding to the secondary research on a topic. Eventually, literature review helps to the students
and readers to get the detailed knowledge about any topic as well as it is also useful for the new
researcher who wants to conduct any research. Herein, below literature review on the objectives
is mentioned below:

and abilities so that they can work fluently at the international level. In the absence of proper

Producing a project management plan.
The project management plan is a kind of plan that consists all kind of details regarding
to the project's objectives, scope and way to achieve those goals (Jain, Sloane and Horwitz,
2015). As well as it defines about the way through which a project is controlled and monitored.
Additionally, in the project management plan different kind of aspects are being covered such as
cost, scope, time, quality, communication, risk etc. The Nestle Company has its business
operations and activities all around the world. Different aspects of the project management plan
are as follows:
Cost- This is one of the important aspect in the project management plan. It consists
overall cost which occurs in conducting any kind of research. Like in the Nestle company's
research, there can incur different kind of cost such as data collection and analysing cost as well
as cost of applying the research methodologies. As per the research topic the estimated cost is £
500 that is categorised into different activities. However, in case of Nestle, it will not cost

anything as the business is engaged in various programmes all around the world such as
Apprenticeship and Mentoring which help them in gaining talent in an optimal manner.
Time- This element of the project management defines about the time to be taken to
complete the research. Under this total time to be taken for the research is concluded. Like in the
Nestle company, the total time for their research will be measure as per the time taken in the data
collection and analysis. The estimated time for the research is 7 weeks or 49 days.
Scope- This is related with the areas which are going to be covered in the project
(Shenkar, 2014). Like in the project of Nestle company, their scope is to select and prepare
potential employees which can cater to the global standards in a much proficient manner.
Quality- It is very important that quality of project should be appropriate because it is
linked to the result of project. Eventually, the quality of a research project depends on the
methodologies and techniques which are being used to collect and analyse the data. Such as in
the Nestle Company, the quality of their project will depend on the method which they will use
for the research. Such methods can be of quantitative or qualitative nature.
Communication- Communication is the key aspect for the research. As per the point of
view of the research, this is very important to have proper communication among the researcher
and company. In the absence of communication, it will be difficult to manage the research. Like
in the context of the Nestle company, there should be interaction between the researcher and
company so that they can conduct the research accordingly. Investigator can communicate via
Emails, social media etc.
Risk- The risk is related with the possibility of loss or failure due to the uncertainty
(Paliwoda and Thomas, 2013). Same as in the project, there can be possibility of failure which is
being considered as risk. In the project plan of the Nestle company, the risk is related to the poor
learning skills of the employees and due to this their plan of training their employees can be fail.
Resources- It is very important to have all the resources for completing a project
(Buckley and Casson, 2016). In the absence of proper resources this will be difficult to complete
a project. Like for the research much kind of resources will be required such as money, human
resources and many more.
Work breakdown structure and Gantt chart to provide time frames and stages for completion.
Work breakdown structure (WBS)- It is related with the breaking or dividing project's
activities into different parts so that project can be completed on time (Yang, Wan and 2012).
Document Page
The work breakdown structure is also known by the project research plan. This is useful for
those projects which are large in size because if project's size is large then it will be difficult to
manage the project. Basically, this is kind of a hierarchy system in which task is categorised and
allocated as per the employee’s capabilities and skills. Herein, the work breakdown structure of
the Nestle company's project is mentioned below:

perform in the 7 weeks wherein the project would start on May 27, 2019 and completed by July

TASK 2.
Carry out small scale research by applying qualitative and quantitative research.
Small scale research- It is a kind of research which is conducted at the small level. In
this, sample size is being taken as small as possible. Eventually, this type of research is suitable
for the companies when they have lack of time and resources or they want instant result of
research.
Research methodology- It can be defined as a systematic plan for conducting a research
(Bratton and Gold, 2017). There are various kinds of methods to do the research. Herein, this is
important that research method should be appropriate which contains the way of collecting data
from an authentic resource. Mainly there are two ways of research methodology which are:
quantitative and qualitative method. These methods are mentioned below in broad sense:
Quantitative method- This is a kind of method in which collected data is analysed with
the use statistical method (Wilson and Wilson, 2017). As well as in this method, data is collected
with the use of internet, journals, books and magazines.
Qualitative method- This method is totally different from the above mentioned method.
In this method, the research data is collected with the use of internet, conducting surveys and
interviews (Sheehan, 2014). Basically, this type of method is being considered more reliable and
authentic in comparison to quantitative method. Additionally, the qualitative method can be used
by the project manager when they need large data.
Between both the methods, the qualitative method is selected because this method is
suitable as per the research topic of the company.
Sampling technique- It is a kind of technique which is related to the collecting data and
information from the selected participants (Castles, De Haas and Miller, 2013). Generally, this is
very important for any kind of research that there should be enough number of participants for
response. The number of participants is known as sample size.
Sample- In the project of Nestle company, sample size is of 40 and respondents are the
employees of multinational companies.
