P4 Research with the help of qualitative as well as quantitative methods
There are different types of research methods which the researcher can use to carry out
research in an effective and efficient manner and they are explained below:-
Qualitative research methods:
It is also known as explorative research which is used to gain advanced knowledge, skills,
reasons and opinions about a specific topic (oserup, Tan and Toulmin, 2013). Moreover this
research methods helps in developing a hypothesis for quantitative research as it includes
observation, focus groups, interviews etc. Therefore researcher takes this method into
consideration in order to carry out effective project plan as it helps in revealing the perception
and behaviour of target audience related to project plan.
Interview Questions:
Tell me about yourself ?
What do you want this job ?
What do you know about the company ?
Quantitative research method:
This is the method with the help of which researcher solve out the issues and come up
with solutions with the help of statistical and numerical data (Polonsky and Waller, 2018). Thus,
it helps in drawing the behaviour and opinions of sample population which will represent the
whole population. It mainly includes surveys, direct interviews, systematic observations etc.
In the current research, qualitative method of research is used because this will assist in
collecting and gathering appropriate data and information while completing the report.
Primary research method:
In this method fresh and new data is being collected through observations, questionnaires,
interviews etc. which were not even published before in any previous findings or research

(Reich, Gemino and Sauer, 2014). Thus, a research takes this method into consideration with the
help of questionnaire so as to gather valuable and reliable information for the project plan.
Secondary research method:
In this type of research method a researcher collect data through different sources which
were already published before like collection through government reports, library, associations,
books, journals etc.
Both primary and secondary method are used for conducting this research so this will assist in
collecting and gathering authentic facts and figures effectively.
Questionnaire: It is defined as a set of questions which are being designed by a researcher so as
to collect the opinions and behaviour of the individual towards the project plan of an
organisation so to as draw valid and best solution whether to implement the project plan or not.
Therefore researchers takes into consideration 40 respondent as a sample size and they are
basically employees and customers of an organisation itself (Pryke and Smyth, 2012).
