With the help of globalisation process business companies can significantly increase workforce
efficiency in organisational structure with the help of which they can further expand their hiring
opportunities (Boella and Goss-Turner, 2012). Along with this globalisation allow organisation
to train their employees in other countries and can make them familiar with the culture and
believes of other locations. With the help of this they can further increase development process
employees. Employees are one of the most essential elements for any business organisation thus,
globalisation allows companies to select and retain right individual and right position within
organisational structure. In addition with this globalisation process provide organisation to have
sound manpower with the help of which they can draw up effective recruitment strategies and

analysing and recruiting the most qualified or knowledgeable candidates for a job opening. On
the other hand, recruitment is a positive process or activity of searching for potential workers and
stimulating then to employ for the jobs within Nestle.
Document Page

According to the Ishrat, 2013, selection is an effective or systematic process of selecting
the right candidates with prerequisite capabilities and qualification to fill vacant jobs within
Nestle. Selection process includes, different stages which are preliminary interview, receiving
applications, screening of applications, employment test, interview, reference checking, medical
examination and final selection. On the other hand, Kang and Shen, 2013, selection means
weeding out unsuitable or unfit applicants and picking those persons with prerequisite abilities or
knowledge.
Training:
According to the Mathis and Jackson, 2018, training is the effective process of learning
whereby people learn skills, knowledge, attitudes and concept to help in the attainment of goals.
On the other hand Jack Halloran, training introduces as the process of receiving and transmitting
data related to problem solving.
Therefore, recruitment , selection and training of employees is highly needed by Nestle to
meet with international requirements and achieve better better results within given time period.

TASK 2
P4. Research Methods including qualitative and quantitative
Research methodology it is mainly a time consuming process in which there are different
types of methods consist which are required to be performed in a well define and systematic way
(Boella and Goss-Turner, 2012). In this outcomes that are received from research methodology
are unbiased and accurate. Mentioned below there are two different types of methods that are
qualitative and quantitative which is further defined below:
Quantitative research this method is in quantifiable nature in which data and information
that has been collected and evaluated is present in a quantitative form. With the help of these
data researcher can effectively able to conduct the research. In addition with is there are different
Document Page
types of methods that are included such as question as surveys and other forms with the help of
which for the accomplishment of research objectives can be acquired.
Qualitative research this mode of research method is in qualitative form and is mainly
based on beliefs and perceptions of individual (Beh and Loo, 2013). In this there are numerous
forms of methods with the help of which data and information can be accumulated some of that
method includes observation interviews and more.
Primary data in this form of Data Collection method researcher gather information for the
first time. It is also known as raw source of information in which original data has been
accumulated by researcher in order to accomplish research objectives in a well define and
effective manner (Stahl, 2012). In addition with is there are different types of sources through
which primary data can be collected that include interview observation question as and more.
Secondary data this mode of research collection method includes data from second
sources such as newspaper, articles, journal, reports and more with the help of which researcher
can collect data and then conduct research in effective manner.
Data collection as to collect information and data researcher take advantage of both the
form of research collection method that is primary or secondary (Kang and Shen, 2013). In
addition with this researcher take 15 respondents as to initiate further research in a well define
and formative manner.
Research sampling is another important part of research methodology which helps
researcher to select sample size from total population. For selecting sample size, there are mainly
two types of sampling which are probability and non-probability. According to the current
project, random sampling method as an effective part of probability sampling is used by
researcher. 15 respondents is taken into consideration by using random sampling method. As it is
useful method and not require addition time and cost of an organisation or researcher. On the
other side, there is non-probability sampling which is not appropriate according to the current
study. As this sampling require more resources of Nestle or researcher.

P7 Reflection
I am happy that I acquire this chance to do project over such an interesting topic i.e. To
analyse the impact of globalisation on recruitment, selection and training in an organisation”. A
case study on Nestle”. This research support me in maximising my skills regarding the training,
selection and recruitment process. By performing this study, I came to realize about the basic
meaning and importance of HR practices. By conducting this study I become capable to improve
my research skills including literature review, data analysis and data interpretation. From the
overall research, I have been analysed that more time is consumed in this research. Main phase
of this research when I was respondent and asking about there experience. Dealing with different
personality was a big task for me because I was introvert personality. In this research when I was
collecting data from different methods it was too much time consuming. In this journey I develop
my communication skill and also increase confidence. It is beneficial for my future. it is true that
every research has different problems and phases. Collecting data, prepare questionnaire, meet
with different respondent is a very time consuming process. But it is the basic part of every
research. It is a big task to conduct research in a particular time with the limited money. When
meet with respondent that time they though it is a time wasting activity. Some people give very
bad response. But in the end of this research I learn many things and also develop my
personality.
CONCLUSION
With the help of above mentioned report, it has been concluded that globalisation is the
concept used by every organisation in order to transfer goods, services, information and data
from one place to another in an effective manner. It has been also identified that in the present
