INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is the process through which the countries and economies of countries come
together to make business with each other. Due to this, there is integration between people,
economy, companies and government worldwide. It is a very complex and multi-layered process.
The establishment of globalisation brought the countries to share their resources and transfer
product and services from one country to another (Krugman, 2017). They do not only share
goods and services but also factors of production like labour, capital and technology. It is the
result of opening up of the worldwide economy and attendant growth in trade between countries.
Globalisation provides a competitive advantage to the countries which are good at manufacturing
the goods and services and the other country which lacks in producing the product or service will
import it.
Since the organisation have become multinational and have expanded them in various countries
and it has allowed the companies to arrange the workforce across the world. Nestlé is the world’s
major brews and Food Company, which is headquartered in Switzerland. The company is
playing the role of a leader in the organisations which already exist in the food industry and
operates almost in every country. It has developed the strong infrastructure and customer
network in almost every country, but instead of this it also has a strong workforce which is
located at different states but works unifying and develop the corporate culture in spite of
different cultures (Nestle, 2019).
Human resource management in Nestlé together is the direct approach of employment, labour
relations, training and development and other activities of human resource development
(Krugman, 2017). Nestlé is the world leader in the food industry has a very strong and wide
workforce. Nestlé does not only focus on ethical practices and also interacts with employee’s
behaviour and code of conduct inside and outside of the company. The motivating factor of a
company is employee growth and comprises values and the right of the non- discernment and
likewise the severe exclusion of provocation in any method. This strategy of company compacts
in compensation, staffing and teaching as well as progress.

developing recruitment, selection and training of staffs of Nestlé for meeting international
requirements.

Assess the ways through which Nestlé can improve the ways for recruitment, selection and
training of their employees to meet the international needs.
PROJECT STATEMENT
Whenever the business is expended in other countries then it significantly impacts the human
resource development of any company. Companies need to take the various aspects into
consideration like diverse range of practical adjustments like hiring, training, retention and
development of the human resource or the workforce which is spread in various countries, due
with these changes the human resource department will need to increase the support for its
current staff (Ritchie ta al., 2017). The project is based on finding the methods to develop the
recruitment, selection and training of staffs of Nestlé to encounter the global necessities.
PROJECT AIM
The aim of this research project is to recognize the methods of recruitment, selection and training
in Nestlé to enhance the productivity of employees and develop them for intentional level
(Krugman, 2017).
PROJECT OBJECTIVES
The purposes of the research are
To describe the techniques of classifying the methods to expand the staffing, assortment
and training procedure of Nestlé to meet global necessities.
To explore a literature review on employees of Nestlé for empathetic the recruitment,
selection and training for meeting global needs (Ritchie ta al., 2017).
To make recommendations for Nestlé to get some variations in their staffing, assortment
and training of workers for meeting the global requirements.

TIMEFRAME AND TIME MANAGEMENT
This study plan will be started on 22/07/2019 and it will finish on 20/10/2019. The timeline of
the study will be determined through a milestone, Gantt chart, work breakdown structure and
project logbook (Lock, 2017). Through this structure, it will be easy to manage the stages and
price of research in a very operative style and this eventually helps to control the growth of the
plan for the achievement of the project.
DELIVERABLES
The research is small scale research that is approved out to classify the methods of enlightening
staffing, assortment and training of Nestlé to meet the global necessities (Lock, 2017). The
research will focus on the impact of globalization and HR actions of the company due to the
operations of the company in various countries, and this has been observed that there is the
certain impact of changes in cultures, religion and ethnicity on Human resource activities and
practices in Nestlé.
SCOPE OF THE PROJECT
Included scope
The included research report will include the research with logical and unbiased aspects of the
project. This research has included qualitative as well as quantifiable information and data and
primary as well as secondary research toward achievement of the objective of the project (Lock,
2017). The data has been taken through the support of primary research by online survey from
the focused group. The research report has majorly focused on identifying the ways to improve
the staffing, assortment and training of employees of Nestlé for meeting the international
requirement.
Excluded research
The research report does not focus on any specified area for research or any geographical
locations. The report do not consists of activities other than the HR practices of Nestlé. It has
enclosed only the activities related to staffing, selection and training of the employees and focus
on these activities to encounter the obligation of universal or global aspects (Menzies-Gow and

RESOURCE REQUIREMENT

Qualitative and quantitative research
The study report has accepted qualitative as well as a quantitative research method to achieve the
goals and purposes of the research (Bernard, 2017). Qualitative research includes information
about opinions and motivations of staffs of Nestlé about the activities related to the human
resource department and their activities like staffing, assortment and training. On the other hand,
quantitative research involves the measurement and analysis of the views of these opinions and
motivation in the mathematical form so that the employees or other audience will easily
understand the result (Bernard, 2017).
Secondary research
Secondary study is done by collecting or gathering data and information by secondary sources
like books, journal, articles and other publications. The statistics and information must be
relevant to the topic of research so that it should be examined and composed to generate suitable
research (Bernard, 2017).
Literature review
According to Singhvi, (2018) Workforces are the cherished assets of an administration and this
has been announced by many experts form human resource, marketing management and other
departmental experts. They are the most beneficial aspects of an organisation which contribute to
achieving the objective of the company (Singhvi and Sharma, 2018). The experts have even
studied the HR activities of Nestlé for finding the problems and issues which may result in the
cause of loss and low satisfaction of employees. This low satisfaction sometimes results in low
productivity form employees.
In another study on Nestlé has also concentrated on the HR activities of Nestlé in Bangladesh
(Morshed, 2016). The study focused on the training and development process of Nestlé in
Bangladesh, where they stated about the recruitment, selection process and has focused on

training and development of the employees. The study has shown the methods used by Nestlé in
Bangladesh for training and development of employees and analysed the employee performance
as well (Morshed, 2016). The study has also included the effectiveness of maintenance of HR
policies and international HR standards which were practised by Nestlé for retaining in the
international market.
Primary research
Primary research is the research where the data has been collected directly from the people
instead of using previous research data. The data has been collected by the survey and
questionnaire method for collecting the current data on the topic (Loud et al., 2016). 60
employees were selected through random sample method and they were requested to give their
views and ideas for staffing, assortment and training of the employees undertaken by the Nestlé
and also find out ways to improve this process to meet global necessities.
