INTRODUCTION
Recruitment introduces as a positive process or activity of searching for prospective workers
and stimulating them to follow for the jobs within an organisation. Selection refers as an
effective process of selecting the most appropriate candidates for the empty post in the
organisation. Training is also identify as an effective process of teaching an employees about the
business process. Along with this, selection, recruitment and training are useful process which
will help an enterprise in its growth and success within given time duration. Knowledgeable and
talented employees are able to fulfil international requirements and also help an organisation to
accomplish competitive advantages easily (Adzic, 2011). The present assignment report is based
on Nestle which deals in manufacturing and selling wide range of products such as Baby foods,
dairy products and much more. It came into existence in the year 1966 whose headquartered is
located in Vevey, Switzerland. The report discusses the project’s aims and objectives, project
management plan, research methodology, data collection and analysis, a valid recommendations
and conclusion at the end of research.

Nestle is a given organisation for this project which was founded in the year 1866 and
headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. Main reason behind conducting this research is to identify
ways through which staff's training, selection and recruitment can be improved. It is a most
essential topic which will support an investigator by enhancing its different skills including
literature review, data collection, management and data analysis. Along with this, Nestle decide
to expand their business for this, they require talented and knowledgeable workforce who can
fulfil international requirement easily.

Main aim and purpose of this project is “To identify the role of multinational organisation
in enhancing capability of staff through training, recruitment and selection in order to meet
international requirements.

Limitation of study

researcher while completion of research activities in systematic manner. Along with this, there
are also some limitation which is faced by researcher such as selection of sample size and
implementation of aim and objectives (Basak and Khanna, 2017).
Project Scope:
This project is large scope for respondents because with the help of this study, they can
easily improve their literature review skills, data collection quality and data interpretation skills.
Along with this, this research also have big scope for Nestle by retaining employees for long
time. Along with this, with the help of appropriate selection, recruitment and training, Nestle can
easily meet international requirement and accomplish long term goals and objectives within
given time duration.

a) Internal selection: For completing this process company have to hire potential and efficient
employees which will automatically assist the firm in improving their productivity that will
beneficial for Nestle in meeting with the international requirements. Selection process will be
completed by company on the basis of skills test, interview which is defined as below:
Skill test: Company will carry out the skill test for hiring the candidates so that skills and
efficiencies of them can be identified in an effective manner. In it, a set of question will be
provided to the candidates through which capable and efficient candidate for the vacant position
will be hired within the Nestle.
Test interview: For selecting efficient candidates Nestle will also conduct interview round for
the selected candidates through which their interest and ability for the vacant job position will be
identified easily which will be beneficial for company in selecting desired candidates for the
vacant position.
B) Cost of selection process: Before organising selection activity managers of Nestle have to
estimate cost and expenses which will be spend in whole process. Through this, unessential
activities will be identified and removed easily which automatically supports the Nestle in

Induction training: In Nestle, Induction programmes are conducted so that new
employees are introduced with existing staff and will be able in understanding their job duties
easily. Through this, a healthy environment will be created within the workplace of Nestle which
will provide better outcomes as the growth and sustainability of organisation.
Orientation training: In this, basic information about the working policies and
procedures provided by the company to their newly selected employees. As a result of it,
company’s international requirements will be fulfilled in an easy manner.
On the job training: Through this method, employees of Nestle will be able in
understanding their roles and responsibilities effectively which indirectly supports the company
in raising its productivity and profitability ratios.
Off the job training: In this kind of training, employees of Nestle will visits other
locations so that they can get in-depth information about the external environment and needs of
customers from the company. Through this, productivity and skills of employees will be
enhanced which automatically helps Nestle in achieving its objectives on time.
LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Jeston, 2014, Recruitment can be stated as hiring potential nominee according
to the requirements of the vacant post out of the pool of applicants. By doing so productivity and
profitability ratio increases at a rapid scale in the working premises. Recruitment refers to the
process of searching out the appropriate nominee for the vacancy of organisation and offer them
to candidates to join the firm.
According to Pekuri, 2014, Selection can be defined as choosing the best candidate from
the shortlisted candidate. By doing so best out comes can be achieved in the competitive market
place. selection plays a vital role in the firm in order to raise the workforce performance.
According to Vanclay, 2015, Training is explained to improve the abilities and skills of
employees to enhance their productivity level. By providing effective training to the staff
members the overall productivity and workforce performance can be raised which is a positive
sign for the company. This helps the company to enrich their skills and competences so that best

manner
Primary source of data collection- Researcher used this method to collect the fresh data
which determines that it is collected for the first time by them. In context of Nestle primary data
helps them to identify actual perception of customers. So they are able to develop essential skills
among employees (Pearlson, Saunders and Galletta, 2016). For collecting this kind of data
surveys and questionnaires are prepared or completed by researcher.
Secondary source of data collection- This information is already used by any other
researcher to complete their activities. Secondary data is useful when researcher is not able to
devote require time for project. Usually this information is less reliable as it is collected from
newspaper, website, published journals etc. which are not properly authenticate (Primary source
and secondary source, 2018).
Sampling method- Probability and non-probability are two methods which are usually
used by researcher to collect data from respondents. In this report probability method is used as
less opinion are required. The sample size taken for this project is of 15 respondents that assist
them to complete the research effectively.
Quantitative research- Quantitative method is useful to collect numerical data for the
research. Within Nestle this method is useful because data is collected through surveys,
questionnaire etc. which help to understand the relationship between dependent and independent
variables (Letsoalo and Mollel, 2016).
Qualitative research- This method is more important for researcher which help to
collect the reliable and meaningful data because it is based on the actual response of respondents.
For Nestle this method is more useful as it ensures that collected data it co-related with
recruitment, selection and training methods of employees.
In this project, researcher have used both quantitative and qualitative method of
investigation along with open ended and close ended questionnaire is prepared by researcher. In
addition to this, sample size of 15 who are the employees of Nestle has been taken by
investigator so as to grabbing opinions and views of them so that valid conclusion will be
