INTRODUCTION
Selection and recruitment is an effective process which is used by each organisation to hire
knowledge and talented workforce within and outside of the organisation. Along with this,
training is most essential process used by company to train their employees. Therefore,
employee’s recruitment, selection and training (Boyle, 2017) are essential process for an
organisation to meet international requirements. For this project, Nestle is given multinational
organisation in Vevey, Switzerland. This report is based on different tasks which includes project
aims and objectives, project plan, Gantt chart and work break down structure. This report also
includes different methods for collecting accurate information about the topic, such as primary
and secondary research source for collecting accurate information, qualitative and quantitative
research etc.

Overview of the report:
Main intent about preparing this project to analyse effectiveness recruitment, selection
and training process for workers to meet global requirements. Nestle decide to expand their
business
functions at international level (Clinton and Whisnant, 2019). These function mainly related with
requirement for improvement in employee’s training, recruitment and selection at international
level. Therefore, it is important for Nestle because with the help of these function, they can
easily enhance overall market share and gain sustainable market image within given time
duration.

aspects that plays an important role in execution of desired activities in an effective and efficient
manner. These aspects are described as under which need to be considered by the researcher
before carrying out a research:
Cost: It refers to the amount which is invested in execution of desired project. As recruitment,
selection and training to the employees by an organisation requires huge amount of funds to
invest. Thus, making suitable budget reduces the business cost by utilisation resources in an
optimum manner. Nestle requires atleast 50000 pound to conduct training and recruitment
programs to get skilled and knowledgeable employees. On the other hand, researcher also
requires to attain different kind of resources such as funds, technology such as SAP, SAS etc to
analyse the research. To conduct present research the researcher has estimated 5000 pound as
total cost (Julien, 2018).
Scope: It refers to the possibilities of attaining objectives in future time period. Providing
training programs and recruiting skilled employees drives Nestle to achieve its desired market
position in market. Whereas the scope of researcher is also wider as carrying out research on

Time: It refers to the time period under which whole research will be carried out.
Providing training and recruiting staff by Nestle in order to achieve skilled staff requires atleast
2 months of time period. On the other side, carrying out an appropriate research requires 4
months time period as collecting data from selected respondents requires more time to consume
(Nicholas and Steyn, 2017).
Quality: It refers to the effectiveness after completing desired project activities. For
Nestle, to conduct training programs advanced technology should be used which ensures quality
of work provided to the employees. On the other side, researcher should use qualitative method
such as interview, questionnaire etc. in order to gather information which are reliable and
accurate in nature.
Communication: It refers to the communication channel which can be adopted to take
support from others in proper execution of desired project. For project, stakeholders plays an
important role thus communicating them about the desired project along with their effectiveness

There are various tools which will be applied by researcher to accumulate accurate data and
information about the significance for improving training, selection and recruitment. It is most
essential for Nestle to meet international requirement and gain competitive benefits.
Primary and secondary source of data collection: For collecting primary information,
Questionnaire will be used. As it will help them by providing reliable as well as valid data about
the study (Primary and Secondary Data, 2019). On the other hand, for gathering secondary
information, books, journals, magazines etc. sources will be applied.
Sampling method: There are two types of sampling including, probability and non-
probability. For this project, probability sampling will be applied because it not requires more
resources of an organisation as compare to non-probability sampling. With the assist of
Probability sampling 40 employees of Nestle will be selected for above Questionnaire.
Questionnaire: It introduces as an important instrument of primary research which is
used for this project. As it will help an investigator to gather reliable, valid, accurate and proper
