INTRODUCTION
Globalisation is the activity of integration and interaction among the individuals,
companies and the government worldwide. It involves free sharing of information, ideas and
employees across national boundaries. Therefore, as a way to attain achieve higher growth and
success, it is necessary for the business to conduct the proper recruitment and selection process
so as to sustain effectively in the global market (ajda, 2015). Therefore recruitment and selection
process should be effectively executed by HR departments so as to meet with the international
requirements. This project is based on the Nestle which is a large international company provides
food and drink facilities to the customers, headquartered in Switzerland. It provides to the
customer comprising of beverage products, pet food, frozen food products and many other items.
This project will carry out the aims and objectives of the company as well as determines project
management plan so as to fulfil global demands. It also conducts small scale research and
provides meaningful recommendations based on the findings and analysis of data.

in the worldwide economy and also leads to coordination among various individuals, companies
and government worldwide. It leads to the growth of the international trade, ideas and culture
across national boundaries.
Recruitment
According to Martin, (2019). Recruitment is concerned with the procedure of searching
and hiring the most appropriate candidate whose skills and capabilities meets with the specific
job requirement within the organisation. Therefore it is the process of filing the vacant position
with the new candidate so as to manage business activities within the organisation in a proper
manner. Management at Nestle should recruit the employees through proper advertisements in
online and print media so as make the customer aware about the job opening which leads in

attracting talent towards the organisation. There are different methods of recruitment such as
manager at Nestle can conduct recruitment through internal and external process such as
company can hire the employees from different departments in the form of job rotation as well as
an recruit it through external sources such as by creating advertisements in online and print
media so as to attract attention towards various individuals and help in attracting pool of talent
towards the organisation.
Selection-
According to Rasel, (2019). Selection is the procedure for hiring the right applicant for
the suitable job position in the organisation. It is the effective way of identifying and hiring the
most suitable applicant for filling the job vacancies within the organisation. Managers at Nestle
should conduct the selection process including the following steps such as conducting
preliminary interviews, thereby receiving applications of the candidates and screening of those
applications to conduct the employment test of the candidates so as check their knowledge and
skills. Then afterwards interview is been conducted and if candidate passes the interview
reference checking and medical examination is taken, then the final selection and the on
boarding of the candidates is done within the organisation.
Training
Training is an activity of enhancing employee’s knowledge and abilities so that they can
contribute in the organisation in a positive manner. It main focus is to enhance the existing
performance of its employees within the respective organisation and gain competitive advantage
in the market place. According to Chitra, (2016). There are various ways through which training
can be provided to the employees are as
On the job training methods- Management within Nestle can provide training to the
employees during their job in the form of job rotation, coaching and mentoring to its
employees so as to enhance their skills and performs the process of hiring the employees
in the effective manner.
Off the job training methods- In this method training is provided to the individuals not in
their working hours by adopting various methods such as role playing, management
games, lectures and solving case studies.

Background of the research
As every organisation main focus is to uphold in the global market for longer time
duration and therefore attains maximum profitability and productivity. This requires the business
enterprise to conduct the hiring process in an effective manner and meets the international
requirements. As the chosen company which is NESTLE provides food and beverage facilities
all across the globe, hence forth it is vital for the company to improve their recruitment methods
and provide employees with necessary training programmes so as to gain competitive advantage.
Purpose of the Research- Main aim of this project research is to identify and determine the
best methods for conducting the recruitment, selection or the training process so as to hire the
employees with efficient skills and capabilities and meets the international requirements (Ariely,
2012).
Aim: “To determine the ways through which multinational companies improves the
recruitment, selection and training of their employees to meet international requirements”. A
case study on Nestle.

PMP is a formal structured representation which describes every phase of the project and
documents and determines actions in order to coordinate and associate the various planning
activities. PMP consist of essential aspects such as cost, quality, risk, time and resources which is

Cost- It is a vital component which describes how much cost is undertaken so as to fulfil
the project activities in a proper manner. Therefore, in conduct the research amount of
15000 is been required by researcher for executing the research. This will lead the
conduct of the project activities in a proper manner. (Burns, 2017).
Scope- From the investigator perspective research has a wider scope as it will enhance
its learning towards recruitment, selection and training methods and their importance
associated with it. Therefore this project provide wider scope to the researcher so as to
have proper knowledge about the recruitment, selection and the training methods which
lead in enhancing knowledge and conducting project activities in proper manner.
Quality- In order to execute the activities of research and project, it is vital for the
researcher to adapt to proper tools and techniques so as to perform the research work in
a qualitative manner.. Apart from this researcher also needs to adopt qualitative method
of data collection so as to interpret the results in the effective manner.
Communication- It is vital component of PMP as without effective communication
completing the project and research is impossible. As as investigator needs to adopt
communication channels such as emails and telephonic conversations as well as access
to internet so as to effectively fulfil the project activities in a definite time period. This
leads to the proper collection of data and leads to successful completion of projects.
Risk- In order to execute and fulfil the project activities researcher also faces the risk of
inadequate of finance and lack of appropriate time as to complete research activities in a
proper manner (Carayannis, Sindakis and Walter, 2015). In conducting this project there
is a risk that data is collected is correct which leads in proper completion of project.
Resources- Proper amount of resources are necessarily required to fulfil the activities
in a proper manner. Henceforth researcher also requires effective resources such as
skills and knowledge, access to internet and appropriate finance so as to conduct the
research activities effectively.
Time- Proper time is required by the managers to execute and complete the project
activities within the set time frame. and researcher requires a time period of 7 weeks of
time to complete the research activities in a timely manner.

For completing the project activities in a proper manner, I have considered views of 12
respondents and considered their views and opinions towards the questions. This made me to
complete the research activities in a proper manner and interpret the results within the set time
frame. Moreover it also helped me to understand the stated objectives and help to enhance my
own learning through proper development and enhancement of skills. Apart from this I faced
some problems like inadequate time and funds so as to properly interact with my friends and
employees and in addition to this I have the problem of time management and communication
skills which greatly enhanced by completing the work on time that is by dividing the complex
activities into small parts and interaction with employees and friends enhanced my
communication skills. This enhanced my own learning towards the topic and improved my skills
in completing he project successfully.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded from the above graph that it is necessary for the project managers to
handle the project activities in a significant manner so as complete the project within the specific
time frame. Gantt Chart and WBS helps the manger in completing the project activities in a
proper manner. Therefore it is necessary for the company to adapt to proper methods and the
approaches to hiring and providing training to the employees so as to enhance employee’s skills
and capabilities and meets the international requirements.
