attained. Therefore, such plans are developed in written form and the company reviews the plan
regularly in order to know that the set business plans are going as per the expectations and if any
deviation occurs then it is to be modified. Therefore, there will be various aspects which will be
considered in order to develop the project management plan and they are discussed below:
Cost: The term cost is related to define the estimated cost because every business activity
and planning is required to set the estimated budget and cost which will be required to
complete the task (Ekwoaba, Ikeije and Ufoma, 2015). Therefore, in Nestle, the company
will require the estimated cost of £11000 and investigator will also need cost so that they
can carry on the daily business expenses like travelling, stationary, etc. and such cost will
be £1000.

conducted for some specific purpose and once the purpose is accomplished then the
research is said to be finished (Haberfeld, 2016). Therefore, the time required by Nestle

in order to complete the research is 12 weeks whereas, the time needed by investigator in
order to complete the research is 6 weeks.
Scope: The scope of the project will be concerned with devising the results which will be
achieving after completing the research (Doyle and Locke, 2014). The scope of Nestle
will be defined by the results attained while scope of investigator is concerned with
completing the research effectively and efficiently.

criteria through which the project can be evaluated. Therefore, for Nestle the quality will
be concerned with the form of reliability and authenticity while for the investigator, the
quality will relate to the fairness, and honesty of the data collected.

through which Nestle can effectively accomplish the research (Dittmar, 2015). Therefore,
Nestle will needs resources like effective labour, finances, time, etc. while investigator

that in such elements will be determined properly, then the business organisation can complete
the research effectively by meeting all the respective objectives and goals.
P3. Work break down structure and Gantt chart
Work break down structure
The WBS is the tree hierarchy structure which helps in dividing the larger task into
smaller one such that such work can be easily assigned to the employees in order to accomplish
the business goals and objectives (Dany, and Torchy, 2017). By adopting this in work and

actions, the organisation will be able to devise the scope of the project more accurately and
specifically in an organised manner. Thus, the easy allocation of resources will be done by
breaking the work into smaller portions and furthermore proper control and monitoring will be
done so that if any problem arises then quick actions can be taken.
Gantt chart
The use of Gantt chart is very important in conducting the research or projecting a plan
because this helps in assigning the time for each activity which takes place in the project plan.
This was developed by Henry Gantt and the main purpose of this is to set the start and finish date
against each planning activity (Cascio, 2015). This is the representation in the form of graph.
Therefore, this will help in proper planning and scheduling of the projects. It will further help in
giving the brief structure of the all the activities which will taken into the project. The
information of each activity with their relative start and finish date is provided in a visual form.
