that includes a whole process of developing interaction of various organization and people from
all over the world. The purpose of improving recruitment and selection process of the company,
the managers of firm needs to develop more effective plans in this regard. (Baylis, Smith and
Owens, 2017) evaluated that, theory of liberalism helps in expansion of market. Theory of
marxism helps in determining the modes of social exploitation, production and distribution. (Li,
Kumar and Von Glinow, 2015) sought to determine the fact that, theory of Constructivism of
globalization states that, people have constructed this social world which mainly comprise
language, image, symbols and interpretation. (Heck and Mu, 2016) evaluated that, recruitment,
selection and training theory helps in evaluating various effective methods in order to hire
talented customers. Globalization helps in attracting large number of prospective individuals by

using various efficient methods of recruitment such as career website which helps in attracting
those candidates who are interested and have capable skills to carry out a particular job role. The
organization should integrate with various digital technology like automated technology, social
media platforms, artificial intelligence, which can help in improvising the recruitment, selection
and training process.
P 2. Project Management plan.
Project Management plan (PMP) is a process which helps in describing every phase of
the project in an effective and accurate manner. PMP is an effective plan as it helps in planning,
initiating, execution, monitoring, modifying, controlling and closing. PMP helps in effective
communication and also provides detailed information to the management of the organization in
an efficient manner. Project Management plan is important as it helps in execution of strategic
goals and objectives on a timely manner by effectively breaking the project into different task. Cost: This helps in estimating the cost of the project in order to determine and estimate
the amount carried out to do a specific project in a systematic manner. The cost plan
comprises of cost and expenses such as stationary, conveyance, internet charges,
transportation, fuel, etc. Scope: The scope of the project is very broad as it helps in filling the gaps on the
particular subject matter. This plan helps in defining, developing and verifying the scope
of the project in an efficient manner. This helps in providing proper guidelines to the
team in order to determine the ways to improve their selection and recruitment and
training program for their employees. Time: Time Management is necessary as it helps in planning, organizing and controlling
the project in a time efficient manner. This helps in allocating time to accomplish each
activity. An effective time management helps in increased effectiveness and
productivity. The project will be completed within 2 month time in order to achieve
desired goals and objectives with utmost accuracy and efficiency. Quality: This helps in determining that the project has been accomplished with utmost
accuracy and efficiency with the purpose of achieving desired results and outcomes. The
project management will use efficient, accurate and viable data in order to achieve
desired results and outcomes.

Communication: This is an effective tool which helps management in communicating
the plan to the various other individuals, staff, employees and other stakeholders in the
organization. This helps in setting clear set of guidelines to transmit the information to
the other individual. This can be done through email, telephone, video calling, social
media platforms, etc. Risk: Risk management plan is an effective approach which helps in foresee the risk
which can influence the efficacy of the project. This helps in evaluating the issues which
can be occurred and hamper the efficiency of the business.
Resources: It helps project management in determining the resources necessary for
carrying out the project. It helps manager in optimally utilizing the resources such as raw
material, labour and equipments.

LO 2
P 4. Small-scale research by applying qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Research methodology
The process that is used to collect information and data to make the business decisions is
known as research methodology. The research methodology may include interview, survey,
publication and other techniques and the information used can be present or historic information.
Research methods
The strategies or techniques used or we can say the process that is used to collect the data
or evidence for any analysis in order to gain new information or create the better understanding
of the topic are known as research methods (Hillson, 2017). There are 2 types of research
methods used:
Qualitative methods ., qualitative method is a method which gathers data about the
emotions, behaviour and the experiences of an individual. This method enables the researchers to
have a good understanding of typical concepts, cultural processions and social interactions that
take place.
This research is also very much useful to explore how or when the things have occurred
interpreting the events and describing the actions.
Quantitative research: It collects the information in terms of numbers that can be ranked,
measured and classified through statistical analysis (Nohria, 2017). It helps in analysing the
patterns and judging in general terms. This research helps find the answers to the 'wh' questions
which are how, when, who, where, etc.
Here the researcher has used qualitative method which helps in determining the
importance of effective recruitment and selection process.
Research philosophy
Document Page
Research philosophy is the deals with the scope, nature and development knowledge. It is
a belief about the ways in which the data would be collected from the respondents and would be
used further (Nicholas and Steyn , 2017). Adding research philosophy in the research report
increases the beliefs and assumptions formulated true. It shows that you are aware of the
methods and ways you are using in your report. There are 2 types of research philosophies used:
Positivism: It is a highly structured method of research philosophy. The sample size is very large
that is a huge number of population is taken as the sample for the research. Proper
Measurements are done in this philosophy. It is a part of quantitative method but sometimes
qualitative methods can also be used in this philosophy (Cleden, 2017).
Interpretivism: it is a philosophy where small samples are taken from the population. In depth
analysis is done in this philosophy. Here investigations are mae instead of measurements and
also it is a purely qualitative method of research.
Here the philosophy used by the researcher is Interpretivism approach.
Research approach
It is a procedure that involves the steps of assumptions to the methods of data collection, to
analyze and to interpret them.
It always depends on the nature of the research held.
There are 2 types or research approaches:
Inductive approach: It involves the observations and theories that are proposed to the research
process. No theories and hypothesis are involved in this approach. It only aims to derive the
meanings from the data collected to identify the patterns and relationships.
Deductive approach. It mainly focuses on developing a hypothesis based on the theory and then
designing a strategy to test that hypothesis (Buttrick, 2018).
In this research, inductive approach is used to analyse several methods regarding
improving recruitment and selection process.
Research design
A set of methods and procedures used in collection and analyzing of the measures of
variables specified in the research is known as research design. It is a framework which decides
the answers to the questions provided in the research.
There are 2 types of research designs:
Descriptive. It describes the characteristics of a population that is being studied. It does not

answer the 'wh' questions. It is a scientific method.
Explanatory: It is a research design that is used for the problems that are not studied properly and
to develop proper operational definitions. It helps to develop the best design and the data
collection methods.
In this research descriptive research design is used.
Data collection
The collection of data from various sources for the research from all the relevant sources
to find the solution of the problem is known as data collection (Polonsky, and Waller,
2018). There are 2 types of data collection:
Secondary data collection ., it is the data that is collected from the already published books or
magazines, newspapers, journals or any other source. Primary data collection., it is the data that
is collected through interviews, questionnaires, group discussions, by asking the 'wh' questions,
etc.
In this research both the data collection methods is used which assess several ways
through which the multinational companies improve their selection and recruitment and training
program for their employees.
Sampling
Sample is a group of people or objects that are selected to collect the data and the process
to of selecting that sample is known as sampling (Noe and et.al., 2017). The sampling technique
used in this research is random sampling which is to select a sample at random and not at any
particular basis.
The researcher has used random sampling method and has selected 10 mangers of Nestle
to further carry out a study.
Data analysis
Process of systematically applying the techniques ., statistical or logical to illustrate and
describe the data collected is known as data analysis (Li, Kumar and Von Glinow, 2015). The
researcher of this study uses Qualitative method ., it provides the in- depth information with the
help of interview scripts, notes, videos, images, etc. The researcher has used Thematic analysis
method. It emphasizes on pinpointing, examining and recording the patterns of meaning within
the data that is collected.
Document Page
Here in the researcher of this study has used qualitative data where thematic analysis was
done.
