INTRODUCTION
Recruitment is defined as the procedure of employing potential resources to fill up the
empty job positions in an organisation. Selection is a method through which a suitable candidate
is hired that can helps an organisation in achieving its aims and objectives by efficient means.
Training of employees involves different processes that ensures that a job holder posses right
kind of attitude, knowledge, skills and capabilities (Armstrong, Landers and Collmus, 2016).
This will benefits an organisation in achieving targets in a proper manner. This assignment is
based on Nestle that is a Swiss based multi-national drink and food company which is
headquartered in Vaud, Switzerland. This assignment will cover about project objectives and
aims along with different aspects of project and its management plan. Beside this, Gantt chart
and Work break down structure is mentioned and a small scale research is carried out by using
different research methods. At last, relevant recommendations are given to draw meaningful
conclusion.

The main reason behind working on this report is to acknowledge the effectiveness of
training, selection and recruitment of workers so that domestic and international needs can be
satisfied properly. Nestle is a multinational firm which operates in global context, it is important
for the firm to improvise their recruitment, training and selection processes to achieve high
growth. These improvements will benefits the company in gaining competitive advantage over
competitors by earning high revenues.

Internal selection

vacant position inside their workplace. As employees are already working for company, it is
easier for them to understand rules and procedures of firm. This will benefits Nestle in enhancing
their productivity and profitability. There are some methods by which Nestle can select desired
candidate within an organisation.
Skill test: With the help of skill text, Nestle can identify the abilities and talent of
individuals for a particular position or vacancy. In this test, applicants are asked some questions
and best nominee is selected in accordance with the response they give (Boyle, 2017).
Test interview: Manager in Nestle can conduct various interview rounds such as

position. This will help the company to select desired candidate out of already existing

screening, identifying and short-listing potential man power to fill vacant position in business
firm.
Selection
Selection is the procedure of choosing right person so that organisational work and
activities can be performed within greater efficiency. As per the opinion of Ingram, D., 2019,
selection is a part of recruitment process through which a desired candidate is selected out of a
list of candidates. With the help of selection, Nestle can select deserving employees due to which
their overall productivity and profit margins will enhance.
Training
According to the opinion of Halloran, J., 2019, training is defined as the process of
transferring and receiving required information so that employees can work in a proper manner.
This will benefits the company in accomplishing their tasks and activities in an efficient way due
to which high profits and market shares can be earned. By training their employees, nestle can
bring their staff members in a position where they will perform their job in a conscientiously
manner.

Cost Cost is the expenses that coming out when researcher conducting
particular research. There are many expenses occurred by nestle
when follow a procedure of recruitment and selection because high

employees. Researcher has estimated almost £100 while working
on project. The cost of research is very high due to use of many
