INTRODUCTION
Globalisation refers to the method where goods, services and information can freely

various information, products, employment and technology cross-borders. Globalisation creates a
link between ample number of countries so that they can grow in a fastest manner. Business and
its operations are highly affected by the process of globalisation in both positive and negative
manner (Beh and Loo, 2013). Generally, it is a method through which companies will be able to
set a position in the competitive marketplace. In the present report, chosen company is Nestles
which have its headquarter at Switzerland. The company majorly deals in different types of
products which includes food and baby products. Nestle operates its business functionality across
the whole wide world. Furthermore, the present report includes objectives, aims, questionnaire as
well as method for gathering information such as primary and secondary methods.

P1. Aims and objectives of the project
Globalisation refers to a procedure where large number of companies exchange their
goods and services across the whole world in order to enhance its productivity and to capture
large market share. Each and every company who wants to expand its business functions at
global level has to follow regulations and policies set by World Trade Organization (WTO). In
general, globalisation is a method where business entities trade across the countries border so
that they can enhance their profitability. Apart from this, there are some advantages as well as
disadvantages of this methods which can positively and negatively affect the business functions.
In the present context of Nestle, a researcher has been appointed so that they can conduct the
whole research in an effective manner (Boella and Goss-Turner, 2012). This present research
report consist of the impact of globalisation, so that they can improve the quality of training,
recruitment and selection in order to meet the requirements of international marketplace. Nestle
wants to expand its business operations at international market so that they can increase its
profitability as well as customer base. It can be done by carrying this research in an effective
manner by taking decisions.

scope, size, quality and cost (Cullen and Parboteeah, 2013). With reference to current study,
researcher have formulated effective project management plan in order to guide overall team
effectively. All of the elements of project management plan are described as below in
effective manner:
Cost: For current study, investigator will require around £130 for conducting
investigation in effective manner. This cost will include all activities related to travel,
research equipment and research material.
Scope: Scope for this study is broad as it will provide many business opportunity to
the company at international market place.
Time: This research will consume around 5 months for accomplishing outcome on
all research objective related to the given topic.
Quality: Investigator will ensure quality of research by gathering information from
authenticate site so that their valid conclusion can be made for the same.

Sometimes, there are some large projects in the organisation which has to be completed

Research Methodology: Research is a time consuming method which includes various
methods which need to be performed in a systematic manner. Outcomes attained from this
research are accurate and unbiased (Floreaand, Mihai, 2014). There are two methods which
includes quantitative and qualitative. All these methods are are follows: Quantitative research: One of the method is quantifiable in nature. It is the data which
includes statistical data and information from various sources and then analysing and
conducting this in an effective manner. It is the method which includes surveys,
questionnaire, and many methods in order to collect information. Qualitative research- It is just opposite to the quantitative method as it is based on the
perception and belief of individuals. There are various methods through which this data is
collected such as interview, observations and many more. Primary data- It is the method where researcher collect information for the very first
time. It is the form where original data is being gathered by the investigator so that they
can complete the research in an effective manner. In this various sources are included
such as interview, questionnaire, observations and many more (Gunnigle, Lavelle and
Monaghan, 2013). Secondary data- It is the method where researcher collect existing data for
completing the research. It is the method which includes various sources, articles,
report, newspaper, magazines, journals and many more.
Data collection- For gathering the information researcher adopt both primary and
secondary data collection method. Along with this, 30 respondents are chosen for
conducting this research effectively.
