transformational leadership style. Following discussion will cover the weaknesses in Hastings
management style and recommendations to improve them.
Read Hasting is opened towards independent thinking as allow employees to think out of the
box. There are many freedoms available to employees within the terms of working culture,
deadlines, structures, and guidelines. This may not work within the some cases and employees
severely laid back and production will suffer greatly (Netflix, 2014).
Sometimes, Read Hasting leaves out the vital details out of the scenario. This leads to downfall
at high level as no one available to assist and help to tackle aspects regarding long term plans.
This has been founded within the research that Read Hasting faces the issues regarding lack of
appropriate structure which is seen as weakness. Lack of clear structure of Read Hasting is a
weakness and a serious issue. Workers within the organization can take the benefit of lack of
structure, involving unity, and proficiency of whole team.

activities to the followers. Unnecessary positivity can lead to turn the blind eye to real and

that sort of business not gives benefits to workers. There is only particular flow regarding
influence from management to employees and singular benefits from the method which
organization itself (Hellriegel, & John, Slocum, (2011). This presents gape for personal
development of employees.
Read Hastings should encourage the employees to willingly adapt and improve the procedure of
work within the business limits. He should set the limits of followers and find the new ways to
inspire individuals to do the best work. Planning will work for the leader as an important feature
and provide the long-term vision.

team should work together to accomplish the objective. It is important to remain the perfect

objectives. This will be effective to pass the activities with the desire objectives to followers. The
management should also focus on the betterment of employees and regularly motivates to
employees for contributing to improvement of team (Murithi, et al., 2011).
In the limelight of the discussion it can be concluded that Read Hasting for the success of
organization is required to entails the close collaboration through identifying and executing
change. It will support the business to grow and succeed by creating the positive organization
culture. Read Hastings should develop the strategies to inspire employees and work as a union to
achieve the common objectives.
