Scope of Project
The project scope involves implementation and designing of the network for a primary based school.
The design components include critically includes several strategies and skills for implementation to
create a design of a network that is better. The project is being exercised depending on the
requirements basically provides knowledge of implementation regarding several schemes for IP
addressing designing and implementation that entirely depends on the requirement of the network.
The project network is developed eventually for network simulator understanding NetSim that is
generally used for purpose of implementation. At the finish of implementation of project knowledge
used for a scheme of addressing, the scheme of designing of the network, implementation of
security and configuration of tech terms that are required to be measured.
The requirement for the Project
For real-life project implementation, the software that is required is NetSim that is generally an
application of Boson Network Simulator. This software delivers a great variety of switches and Cisco
router. The elements describe are configured and arranged in particular way which comprises of all
high requirements for designing of the network in the project of primary based school that is
achieved. Below described are some requirements of the network:
 Design network: The design network should comprise of the number required and network
related designing which is proposed over software of network simulator that is Boson
NetSim.
 Subnetting: For primary school networking 10.0.0.0 IP is being used for the process of
subnetting. The subnetting of the IP is done using the CIDR scheme according the number of
hosts requirement.
 Marking of strategies is done for developing guest users so as to access school-related FTP
services for the school. No other services of the application rather those services of FTP are
made accessible. Access list is generally configured for a firewall security (Eskandarpour, M.,
Dejax, P., Miemczyk, J. and Péton, O., 2015).
Design of the Network
Network designing defines the planning regarding the implementation along with network-based
infrastructure related to computer. This task is performed by various network designers, software
engineers, associated staff, and IT administrators. This gets implemented according to network-
based infrastructure.

IP Address Scheme
The primary school network is being addressed depending on the network related requirement. A
table is created for the following network that mainly includes 3 of the departments that comprise
of LAN department, Guests department and server department:

The department of the server has the mask subnet of 255.255.255.252 for C class of the IP. The
provided mask will grant four different IPs for one of the networks, it has IP that is last for remaining
two broadcasting host. It provides a classless scheme of IP addressing that is used by the server that
is CIDR.
In the situation of LAN and guest network, the mask of the subnet is 255.255.255.192 and
255.255.255.240 that mainly provides 62 and 14 hosts of addresses of IP. LAN and guest network IPs
are mainly subnetted by using classless scheme for addressing of IP (Yang, Guo, and Ma, 2016).

The diagram of network topology is described above for primary school. The design is entirely
structured and considers several requirements of network related institution. Details of
configuration related to a network device are as defined:

Router Configuration
A networking based device is called a a router that forwards several data packets with the computer
networks and they also perform related functions regarding directing various traffic on the particular
internet. The data packets are forwarded generally from router one to several routers via different
networks that internally constitute the network previously as it forwards destination node.

Guest Switch Configuration
The software-based release must not preserve several features related to documents of all access to
prerequisites guest comprising of highly peer mobility and should configure hierarchical mobility of
architecture. The wireless access implementation to major of the guest then it must use various
enterprise existing which are wired as well as are wireless infrastructure too which mainly avoids
cost and complexity.

LAN Switch Configuration
The configuration of switching of LAN is a kind of packet which mainly determines to switch used for
Local Area Network (LAN). These switching related technologies are made necessary for traffic allow
delivering of sending traffic to various areas that need this. It includes methods that are fast
depending on the performed hardware. LAN based switching requires different switches kind of
network.

DHCP Configuration
The configuration of DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is known as IP based address that
determines the subnet mask, DNS related server, and domain-related suffix and almost 200 possible
based options related to communication-based on computer with network-based automatic
communication through several servers and routers.
Security Configuration
It is a tool configured for stand-alone snap-in that is determined by the user that import particularly
configuration from 1 to another that is secured in private security database (Lubell, and Zimmerman,
2017).
