This paper is a literature review focusing on the network application OpManager. It begins with an introduction to network management, emphasizing the importance of system monitoring for maintaining network performance. The review explores OpManager, a comprehensive IT system management tool, and its applications in various network environments. It then delves into two popular OpManager applications: ManageEngine OpManager and OpManager Plus, detailing their real-time monitoring capabilities, including performance monitoring and server monitoring for both physical and virtual servers. The paper also touches upon socio-technical principles relevant to network management. The review concludes by highlighting the strengths of OpManager, such as its comprehensive network visualization, device recognition, and configuration features, while also acknowledging its limitations, like the manual configuration process and user interface challenges.
