Introduction
The overall performance of an organization is said to be effective by increasing productivity by
having quality network designs that work together with the network devices, which are of high
quality and thus benefiting the organizations in so many ways (Merisa, 2017). The selected
topology of the network will profoundly affect the availability, reliability, and performance of the
entire system. In this case, if the chosen topology is not the appropriate one to be used for
implementation, then we may expect to have a network that fails in ensuring that the systems
are well distributed and that the two features reliability and availability are well met in all ways
(Bird, 2010).
The current space of Priority Advertising (PA) for operation is not entirely enough at level 10
and level 11 towers in Brisbane Central Business District and thus due to their experience in
advertising and marketing and having many new customers there is need for them to enlarge
their current space and go somewhere else where they will operate freely .
Project Proposal
The proposal for the project is comprehensive in the manner that they are dealing with a lot of
pieces of equipment. In this case, since the company needs to move into a five-story building,
the first idea is how a network design was to be implemented so that they can share data all
through the five departments, namely Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design, Photography,
and HR & Accounting. In this case, we need a comprehensive report indicating all the network
types of equipment that will handle all the network bandwidth and staff without problems in all
aspects. PA is a company that is willing to spend they avoid network failures in the future and
thus creating an environment that will make working easy and much more lifting their objectives
and standards of work.
Problem Statement
The issue explanation that should unravel in this report is that Priority Advertising (PA) is
moving to another office in Brisbane, which has five-stories located in Brisbane Suburbs. There
are a few undertakings that will be related to the relocation of the organization to the new
premises, for example, the plan and execution of the system foundation and how it will serve the
whole association without issues and meeting every one of their goals.
Objectives of Priority Advertising
The idea here is explaining some of the goals and objectives that Priority Advertising needs to
look upon so that it can have an excellent and smooth network design in all aspects. This
sharing goes hand in hand, ranging from information sharing as well as transmission of data

from any location on the specified network. Some of the significant PA objectives are as shown
below.
 The proposed network infrastructure should enable the employee to communicate
effectively.
 All employees should use the proposed computer system without difficulties.
 There will be a need to buy at least three printers.
 The networking devices need for the network installation to be purchased should be only
used in the implementation of the network proposed.
Research Methodology
This system is involving as it will require the involvement of the management and all the
significant stakeholders using the network system when planning the layout of the network in
the new building at Brisbane CBD. In this aspect, the project will work well by being divided into
different modules, such as creating it from scratch by the use of a waterfall Software
development Lifecycle.

In any organization with regards to printing at that point, there is no compromisation, this
because its done on a regular schedule, and along these lines, there will be an added
requirement for Priority Advertising to have a multifunctional printer which will have the option to
play out all the particular undertakings without specialized issues in all habits. The augmentation
with number of customers cooperating with PA has driven them to relocate from their old office
to a bigger office, and since they will be required to employ more individuals at that point there
will have to buy quality and hardcore multifunctional printers, for example, Kyocera Taskalfa
8052ci which is a multi-useful and multipurpose printer.

Kyocera Taskalfa 8052ci is capable of doing duplex scanning and printing, and at the same
time, it helps in improving the workflow as expected. It comes offers specifications of MFP,
which is uncompromising. It has a speed of printing of about 80 A4 or A3 per minute, may it be
colored or not colored. It can offer a maximum of about 7650 sheets incapacity. This printer
performance is very high, and it's secured with about 8GB storage in for SSD and about 320 GB
of HDD, thus enabling that it can be able to handle the printing speed and processes, especially
when one is printing images with high resolutions.
The managers in Brisbane will need a small printer that will meet the needs of the office as
recommended. The printer that will boost their work is that which can print coloring pages can
do printing, scanning, and at the same time, photocopy documents. The other requirements that
should be available is that one which allows the manager to print double-sided pages and of
which the quality is very high (kyocera, 2017). The printer which will serve best in this field is
Kyocera ECOSYS M8124cidn, which can print up 24 pages per minute. It is highly
recommended in terms of power consumption as it saves energy and thus its components,

This server used for backup is used because it can hold up to about 200 terabytes, which is
usually used by many film crews as a source of backup. This backup server is not always
applied immediately, but in case of errors or faults, it will be applied in the future when some file
misses due to system failures. The Admin can only access the backup server and incase the
employees will need access, and then the admin has to give them the rights with close
supervision to what they are doing. The three-layered hierarchical design will be appropriate for
this system in that it will help devices to perform effectively. This model ensures that the network
is divided into three significant layers namely

Some of the benefits that will be associated with network design models are such as scalability,
redundancy, performance, security, and manageability. The conveyance layer is utilized for
amassing the information from the entrance layer. The center layer is in charge of the fast which
is utilized in exchanging the systems. This layer is the one that has various switches that are
utilized for offering high data transmission. The accompanying figure demonstrates an example

This is a service that uses a dynamic host configuration protocol in the allocation of IP
addresses to the users thus dynamically enabling them to access the internet and other
resources used in the network.

There are so many situations when the company may opt to use both the public and the
private IP as it enhances the security of the network as it shields the individual access of the IP
from the outsiders. People will only see the public IP when devices are connected to the internet
and cannot use it to trace the private IP, thus making the network more secure (Yang, 2014).
This will help PA maintain data security and ensure that unauthorized users from external
networks do not access them (Kaabouch, 2014). Thus, Priority Advertising should use both
private and public IPs to make the system more secure and prevent external attackers such as
hackers from gaining access to the internal network.

The growth of PA in the next ten years is expected to be rapid in the next five years, and thus
the predicted network design is required to cater to the concept of flexibility that will help in
allowing future extensibility and scalability. As the network will be increasing; thus, the proposed
network design should be set in a manner where it will accommodate all the users without
affecting the network infrastructure and performance. If PA would consider the proposed plan,
then it will have the benefit of extending its network quickly if there if need be.
Conclusions
Based on the justifications given and provided, it will be suitable for PA to adopt the design
which has been proposed and the network infrastructure to the Brisbane New building. The

performance of the network will entirely depend on the network choice, cables used and the ISP
vendor. Several key network determinants help in designing a quality network with excellent
performance overall such as reliability, Extensibility, availability, and security. Based on the
mentioned determinants, the discussed and proposed network devices will help in ensuring that
the requirements of PA are met.
