Scope of project and requirements
In this assessment an advanced network design has been proposed to learn how to investigate
network designs and to make suitable frameworks ad standards for implementation of these networks.
Requirements of this project include the planning and designing involved in creating this networking
project.20 personal computers are being considered here in this design task which are connected to 6
switches. In this networking system the component castoff are planned for the one department in which
the host is placed at one access socket .The point further is associated with the router via switches. It is
shown below in the figures. The design proposed here has employed static and dynamic routing
protocols. Router, switch and host has been configured and a comprehensive cost analysis has been
made for the selected router.
Industry visit evidence
We have visited a nearby hospital, and noted its network requirements. Visit evidence is
attached in appendix.
Points gathered from an industry professional on their existing Network
Industrial networking system was totally notable as its design and management system is
extraordinary. Different departments had been constructed in an industry and every
department was linked with the chief unit [1]. Communication between two departments is
made via the networking system.PCs in the departments are called host and every host is
further associated with the router through switches. VLAN connection is made by the
router to communicate with the other router [2]. To comprehend this system I learnt the
protocol which was being used by the industry for their networking system.

The design of the networking system is proposed below according to given scenario in which
twenty Personal Computers are linked with the six different switches and these switches are
coupled with the three routers which make up the VLAN setup. Every router is linked with
it’s in line router through a line and these routers has a communication system through a
particular internet protocol (IP) [3].

Use of static, dynamic routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF etc.)
Access Control List (ACL) as per the network preferences.
Routing protocol techniques vary depending upon the organization, for example, if the industry is small,
RIP protocol will be preferred because the host will be limited and there will be OSPF follow the dynamic
routing [4].
The design mentioned above has used static routing in the subparts and dynamic router has been
employed in the main department.

Coordination between connected PCs
After configuration of pcs has been done, switches and servers network is equipped to interconnect with
one another. For checking the communiqué, the response can be crisscrossed by clanging the 2 pcs.
In the further down command prompt, the address of one pc 192.168.1.0 is dinged with the other
personal computer. Second pc is responding. Likewise, messaging of each pc can be connected with one
another. The ping command is operational for each scheme, this command guarantee that the box of
data can be sent from one node to another. After the packs of info are sent, the positive rejoinder can
be attained.
