1. Project Scope
Main scope of the project is create the network design for sleep city dream solution and it is
Australian based organization. The Sleep city organization has the network issues. To resolving the
network issues to create the new network infrastructure. The Proposed network design is designed
by using the Netsim simulator. The Proposed Network design will be simulate. It requires the cisco
network devices. The sleep city challenges are will be discuss. Also the Network devices, limitations,
Outcomes are will be discuss in detail.
2. Challenges
The sleep city organization has the one or more challenges. These are given below.
 The sleep city was interested in expanding the interstate and doubling their retails points of
present. But it requires the new communication. The new communication has the simple
deployment and provides the cost effective of scalability ("Basic Network Design", 2017).
 It easily access the sleep city server from the remote stores.
 It also interests to introduce the in store email to expansive faxing and it improve the
customer services and communications.

Memory 2GB RAM
Hard Drive 2.4 GB
Routers Cisco 2600 Series routers
Switches Cisco 3600 series switches
Cables RJ45
IP Phones Cisco’s 7960G IP phones
4. Network Design
To create the new network design for Sleep city organization by following the below steps.
Open the Netsim simulator (Erol-Kantarci, Kantarci & Mouftah, 2011).
In Netsim, Create a network topology by click the file and select the new to create topology.
In new topology wizard, add the cisco devices by select the devices.

To add switch, click the Cisco 3600 series switches.
TO add router, click Cisco 2600 Series routers.
After add the IP phones and PC for the network design. To add the IP phones by clicking the Cisco’s
7960G IP phones.

Finally connect the all the devices by using the RJ45 cables. The proposed network infrastructure for
sleep city shown below ("Network Design & Administration | IT, Web & Programming programs at

The sleep city organization proposed network design is shown above. The network design
provides the large financial benefits compared to existing network. It is used to improve the
streamline operations and customer services. It provides the lower cost of overall business. It easily
deploying the communication system. The proposed network design create the new communication
system for staffs. It provides the high scalability and flexibility. It use the cisco products to reduce the
operational costs. It discovering the benefits of IP communications to increase the customer

services. It easily accessing server from remote sites. It reduces the user downtime by reducing the
taxes.
5. Benefits for Proposed network design
The Proposed network design has the several benefits. They are,
 The sleep city network design creates the best communication system for staffs and it

 It provides the flexible foundation for all data and voice communications.
 It easily enables the sleep city to double their presence of points.
 It increasing the communications costs.
 The overall communications are managed by the centralized and simple management.

 It easily deploy and configure the new users and locations.
 It maximize the investment value by integrating the new retail solutions and services.
 It improve the sleep city communications and security including the wireless warehouse
management, intranet and video surveillance.
 It also improve the employee and customer satisfaction by reducing the fax costs.
 It resolve the existing network issues.

 It hard to optimize, upgrade and trouble shoot the network.

7. Limitations
The Sleep city network infrastructure having the various limitations. These are,
 It must create the new communication system to provide the end to end IP communications.
 It must be use the cisco network devices.
 It configured with headquarters by using the cisco wireless solutions.
 It should be improve the customer satisfaction by reducing the faxing costs.
 It must provide the network security and infrastructure productivity ("Sleep City’s dream

8. Conclusion
The sleep city dream solution create the network design by using the Netsim simulator. It
resolving the existing network issues by creating the new communication system. The new
communication system provides the end to end communication for staffs. The Network design are
successfully designed and discussed in detail. The Proposed network design benefits and limitations
are analysed in detail. The Proposed network design outcomes also analysed.
