2. Equipment list for network
The above network diagram has been designed for a small business owner who will
be having a business organization that will have the above proposed network and the entire
business activity will be carried out by following the entire architecture that has been
developed (Ceselli, Premoli and Secci 2017). The entire business organization has been
divided into 4 different department that will be carrying out individual activities in relation to
the business activity belonging to the field of operation. In addition to this, there is the
existence of a conference room for having conferences as well as meetings with the clients of
the company in regards to work.
The following equipment have been supplied to the network design of the small
business owner,
i) Personal computers- each of the department will be supplied with personal
workstations as per the number of employees working within each of the
departments (Park et al. 2017). Apart from this, the conference room will also be

provisioned with an individual workstation for the purpose of carrying out the
meetings along with the conferences such as the like of showing presentations.
ii) Printers- each of the department will be provisioned with individual printers for
activities that are in necessity of printing documents that might have the
importance in accomplishing the regular business activities of the organizations.
iii) Switches- each of the department along with the conference room will have a
specific switch that will carry out the activity of having a control upon the
connection that comes from the sub-routers of individual departments into the
printers as well as the workstations (Rhu et al. 2016). A specific switch will also
be placed between the server and that of the main router belonging to the
company.
iv) IP Phone- the conference room will be provided with an IP Phone that will have
the added feature of being operated with internet connection to attend calls from
overseas clients regarding projects.
v) Television- the conference room is again provided with a TV for the purpose of
carrying out video calls with overseas clients regarding clarification or discussion
of projects that are being developed by the company.
vi) Tablet PC- the server room has been provided with a wireless server that will
provide connection to wireless devices such as the Tablet PC and that of the
mobile phones for employees regarding any work that can be accomplished with
the use of mobile phones.
