INTRODUCTION
International standardization for organisation (ISO) management model is used as a
architecture which helps in cordinated standard development of management standard. This
study will provide five ISO management models such as configuration management,Fault,
performance, security and accounting management which supports the standard networking
techniques by applying various tools equipments. Further, the study will also describe the
purpose and objectives of such management model which helps in acheiving error free
networking technology.
ISO network management models
FCAPS is basically an ISO telecommunication network which has created for
understanding networking model which allows interconnectivity of various devices in order to
allow the sharing of information and resources over network (Jovanović and Filipović, 2016). It
five types of networking mpdels which are described below:
Fault Management
The main purpose of this type of Internat5ional stardised technique is to integrate, correct
and log faults which are often occurs in the network. Implication of this system management
helps in controlling and predicting the errors while connecting the different networking devices
together which sends a notification at the time whenever any log occur in page. For instance, if a
event occurs network component directly sends a notification using SNMP protocol to the
network operator. This system management includes HP network node manager, EMC smarts,
CA spectrum, NetIQ, TTI telecom etc. So this can be considered as important management tool
which allows the separation of those faults which are encoutered in the network.
Configuration Management
It is mainly concerned with monitoring system configuration information. This
networking management is helpful in configuring files updating software versions, establishing
connection between hardware of system. The main purpose of configuration management system
is to track or gather configurations of different devices. It is generally helps in setting those
parameters which help to control operations of system. This helps in configuring different
network devices such as file, inventory, software management etc. This can be performed by
using modular interface card which allows in obtaining altered changes for configuration of
devices.

Performance Management
This is basically used to improve the performance of the system and determining the
optimum efficiency of current networking devices (Klochkov, Klochkova and Vasilieva, 2016).
This is mainly applied to ensure quick network response time. It is also used to detect the rates of
lost data packets which can be generally implemented using Simple network management
protocol system. This is also helps to identify the unstable performance and monitoring the
problems before it occurs. This can be considered as improved version of FM (fault
management) as along with detecting the error, it also helps in improving the potential
information of the network operator. This is a proactive network management strategy.
Security Management
This ISO networking management model helps in controlling the assets of the networking
which ensures the security of network. This model is mainly applied to analysing the security
related to information. Functions of this management system may includes the following
operations such as managing network authentication, authorisation and auditing. This basically
allows the access of information to only those network users who are authorised to use the
information of networking management. It performs various methods which includes deletion,
creation and control of security services. Whenever any unauthorised user try to gain access to
confidential data then security management model detect that specific device and report such
activities to networking administration system. It helps in managing the policy and standard
telecommunication devices.
Accounting Management
This method ensures the appropriate use of network resources and helps in generating bill
or charge of a particular department or business according to the used data or units. Functional
aspects of AM includes cost for resources consumed, seeting the accounting limits which is
basically concerned with the use of resources and enabling the total combined cost in which
multiple resources are invoked in order top establish a communication between different devices.
Being a senior network administrator implimentation of all the five model would be
benificial to acheive the effective networking of different devices (Ndiaye, Hancke and Abu-
Mahfouz, 2017). FCAPS ultimately helps in establishing fault free and improved performance
networking management (Network Management Model. 2018).
