1. Crashing of Project
Crashing a schedule in the area of project management could be defined as a technique by
which the schedule of any project could be shortened or reduced [3]. Project management has a wide
range of techniques based on performing the task of crashing.
Some of the most common methods that could be used for crashing of a project includes the
following:
1. Adding of additional resources (technical or human) to the tasks defined in critical path
This option is considered as viable. However, the option would have different kind of constraints based
on securing the resources based on budget in order to add the different form of resources [2]. The
availability of resources within the proper time would be considered as another factor based on which
the crashing of the project would be considered as successful.
2. Reducing the requirements of scope or project – This kind of activities would be done if the
major stakeholders and sponsors would be agreeing for the reduction of scope within the project [4].
Based on the certain project of web development, a certain time taken for any activity could be
reduced by adding more number of resources [1]. Although, this might affect the factor of costs, but it
would also lead to complete delivery of the project within the scheduled time.

3. Post Project Review
Based on performing the project on web development, I have gained knowledge about several
aspects in relation to project delivery, designing a proper web application and making use of different
project management tools and techniques. This has also helped me to understand and manage the
different activities that would be taken as input within the PM tools. I have also gained knowledge about
completing a particular project by making use of available resources and cost factors.
