Project Scope
The main scope of the project is to evaluate the current network framework for First
national University (FNU) and propose a network for the organization to renovate the current
network framework. The network developed for the organization should meet all the security
needs for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization.
Project Objectives
The main of objectives identified for the development of the project are listed below:
 To analyse the current network infrastructure of First national University
(FNU) for development of the network requirement document
 To create a project plan and budget for the estimation of the time and cost
required for the development of the project.
 To align the development process with the legal rules and standards for the
meeting the quality standards for the final delivery of the network solution.
 To secure the network equipment’s and devices such that the unauthorised
users does not have access to the core resources of the organization and the
data are stored securely.
Constraints
There are different barriers that are needed to be overcome for development of the
project successfully. The main constraints identified is the technical knowledge of the team
members in the development process. The group members should have an experienced
member who should instruct the other members to perform a set if task. A proper
communication between the team members is also necessary for the development of the

project. The activities involved in the project plan must be monitored for completion in time
and the risks should be mitigated for completing the project successfully.
Statement of Work
The vendor selected for the development of the network infrastructure should meet all
the certification, rules and guidelines. A survey should be made on the site for finding the
network requirement and the network should have a remote access such that the network
resources can be monitored from remote location for increasing the security of the network.
The organizational business rules should be evaluated for the development of the network
infrastructure and the errors in the configuration should be resolved immediately after
identification for increasing the quality of the project.
