Introduction
The report is prepared for Heaps of books for proposing a network solution to meet the
growing needs of the organization. The stakeholders of the organization is involved for analyzing
the requirement and the solution is prepared aligning the needs of the organization.

2. Upgrade proposal
2.1. Problems
The main problem identified for the development of the network proposal is increased
time and cost of maintaining the current business process. Moreover the owner of the business is
not concerned about the new technology that can be applied for automating the account process
and remove the manual process for increasing the efficiency of the organization.

2.2. New System Requirement
For the development of the new system the organization needs to change the hardware
and replace the manual system. An accounting software should be chosen for management of the
entries and sales record. Removal of the manual process would reduce the human error and
increase the productivity of the employees.
2.3. GAP report
The Gap analysis is made for the identification of the requirement that can be met with
the application of the new information system. The space between the technology and the
resources used for the management of the business are analyzed for looking at the mission and
goals of the organization. Questionaries’ and brain storming is done for identification of the
objectives and creation of the activity list of the project.
Relevant data are collected by interviewing the employees and the performance levels of
the employees are collected. Different sources are used for the collection of the data and the state
of the business organization are divided into two categories such as the current state and the
future for the identification of the gap. The current state consists of the processes that are
followed by the organization and the number of customer handled (Do et al. 2014). This is stated
by analyzing the current workplace and the diversity in the business. The future state is stated by
analyzing the outcome of the new proposed solution.
The gap in the business are described and the gaps are bridged and all the possible
solutions are listed to guarantee that there are no flaws in the solution and it is done by the
application of SWOT analysis or McKinsey 7S model.
