Network Topology and Configuration Report: Setup & Services

This report provides a comprehensive overview of a typical network setup and configuration. The assignment is divided into two main tasks: network setup and network service configuration. The network setup involves configuring PCs, switches, routers, and servers with appropriate IP addressing and a classless dynamic routing protocol (RIP). The network service configuration includes the setup of DHCP, web, DNS, and firewall services. The DHCP service configures IP addresses automatically, the web service hosts a website, the DNS service ensures DNS services, and the firewall service blocks specific types of communication while allowing others. The report includes a network design diagram and traceroute results to demonstrate network functionality and concludes with a summary of the implemented configurations and services.
