1.1 Schedule review
The project has been greatly understood and discussed till now. The total work till the fourth week
has included number of tasks. We have performed various things like understanding the case study,
requirement analyses etc. the project is on the fourth week stage which is project planning.
Following is the brief summary of the tasks performed in the previous weeks –
1. Week 1 – Requirement Analyses
In this phase all the major requirement of the project is analysed and different
aspects are discussed.
 Case study outline – in this the complete case study is studied thoroughly.
 Brief discussion on project requirement – general discussion on the project
requirement
 Analysing raw data
2. Week 2 – Project Scope
Project scope is identified and deliverables are analysed of the project. This is a vast
topic so we’ve divided it into subparts which are –
 Deliverables – Deliverables are the end result of a task or process. It can be either a
end product or service.
 Technology – Technology plays a vital role in this project for obvious reason. Here,
technologies that can be used in this project is discussed.
 Acceptance criteria – It is the term which defines that the solution for project scope
is justified or the requirements are fulfilled as per requirements
3. Week 3 – Project objectives
In this week we’ve discussed about the project objectives. Analysing the objectives
and how to achieve the aims were discussed.
 Examining the existing knowledge – Here we checked our existing knowledge related
to the project
 Identifying project goals – In this section we define the actual project goals and aims

 Cost effective solution – General discussion about effective solution to achieve the
objectives which should also be cost effective
4. Week 4 – Project planning
Project planning is present phase of the project. This phase includes the planning of
overall project assigning tasks to the group members. This phase is really important
because without scheduling the project there will definitely be mismanagement in
the project and the project result will definitely be not on the schedule date.
 Assigning responsibilities – This work is critically important so that individual tasks
are defined and no one is there to blame another. In this we’ve assigned roles and
responsibilities of the team members
 RACI Matrix – RACI matrix is a technique by which each task of project is divided into
different roles and these are allotted to team members
 Gantt chart – Gantt chart is the schedule representation of the tasks involved in
project according to the dates
 Project phases – Different project phases are defined
In the upcoming week we’re going to perform the Network Redesign which will include different sub
parts like studying the existing network, analyses of requirement for upgradation, and defining
addressing scheme will be done.

2.2 Any Issues
Initially there was lots of issues in getting through the project. The project includes various
technologies which was like new to us. To get over such issues we had some training session about
technologies to be included in the project. The other main issue was communication. The way of
communication between our team was not so great, so, to resolve this problem we use third party
application like slack and google docs.
3.1 Risk review
The main initial risk in every project is to schedule the project in a plan and to stick with the
schedule. We were also in a great risk that the planned project will be done in the proposed
schedule or not. For this we’ve introduced a supporting management tool which RACI matrix and
Gantt chart which will help us in getting the project deliverable as per phase on scheduled time. But
not following the scheduled plan will put the project in great risk.
